What a marvelous once-over tour de force of the sub-narrow gauge rr's. Thank you.

The 15" gage 5" scale consolidation was built by Ken Kukuk using cylinders, drivers and other parts developed by Erich Thomsen. The class A Shay at Hillcrest was built by Ken Kukuk, Ken Petersen and me, Johnny Hoffman. The cylinders were from a 4" scale Case tractor. I furnished some of the truck frame material as well. Ken Kukuk fabricated the crank case and crank shaft. Ken Petersen is no longer with us, RIP. Ken Kukuk and I are still hanging on in our 70's. The 15" gage mogul was started by our friends, the Holmes brothers of San Jose. Ken Kukuk finished that locomotive after it had languished for years. GSP&P number 1 was built by the Holmes brothers.

I realize most people are interested in steam but I'd like to know more about your diesel-hydraulic loco.
