Don't mean to burst your bubble but it's not too tricky, for example the fire work numbers in the sky, you would make the numbers 0 to 9 and the game checks what number you use based on your date using variables

Then, 10 other demon looking Critters appear and start to chase the player. Suddenly, a man in a Green looking suit throws half on the Demons into the sea. He then proceeds to off the other 5 demons. After that, He notices the player, he starts to grunt as a speech bubble appears. The speech bubbles is labeled..

That sounds like a Junji Ito story. Someone turns up in a village who was assumed dead when they disappeared one morning over 40 years ago. It takes a while for people to recognise them at the party, even though they haven't aged a day. The villagers suddenly realise all of them look 40 years younger. Then, as midnight approaches, time itself unravels.
