I can't tell you how impressed i am when he included merry Christmas. Like it catches whole vibe of Mumbai christmas initially. And it doesn't loose the feel of Christmas but it also adds the tension required in the plot. A blend of both not just gives us a great story, but an experience. And the concept of the whole story in one night keeps you on the edge.
Why i still feel that Chamkila is the most less talked film of this year . I mean everyone's talking about Maharaja , Aavesham , Lapata ladies went to oscar ( got out too) . But why aren't anyone deeply discussing about the genius of Chamkila. The music, the acting , Screenplay, Cinematography, the emotional Depth of the film.I think it was a cinematic genius with great emotional touch, but nobody's actually have any attention on it
I too felt that chamkeela was soooo good . acting, cinematography, ,music, everything was near perfect. The way diljit and parineeti had played there characters amazing. All praise goes to imtiaz ali direction .

My top 5 films of 2024:- Aattam Maharaja Kishkinda Kandam sector 36 Sookshmadarshini Apart from these I also liked chandu champion,laapata ladies, level cross,aavesham, brahmayugam,majummel boys. I feel sector 36 and sookshmadarshi should are very underrated, they havent got the hype they deserve. Also I highly recommend you to watch Kishkinda Kandam as personally I feel it is very unqiue movie in terms of story telling. The climax is too good and the movie is just gets better once you start watching it. Malayalam movies in 2024 have truly inspired me in many ways.
I agree on LSD 2. It's not a masterpiece but it's really under appreciated. Aisi movies nahi chalengi to makers unique stories banane ka risk hi nahi lenge. Kudos to Balaji Telefilms for that

Well i knew that we won't be seeing fighter in this list as we had kalki lately released and though i don't know why but there seems to be some kind of underrating of this film in today's time .We can't even make half of what fighter was able to pull off and can't even come close to 80% of what lakshya movie was but still this is what it is................ LIFE IS UNFAIR. Top picks are:- 1.) Aavesham 2.) Merry Christmas 3.) Maharaja 4.) Lucky Bhaskar(you forgot as you had Kalki in your mind obviously and LSD 2) 5.) Fighter (Great movie in terms of what they offered us visually and was a worthy film which also failed just passed with grace marks) 6.) Madgaon Express (can only expect from Farhan Akhtar to produce some great quality of friendship and comedy film) 7.) Chamkila Rest i can't remember. Well Vishal bhai might be excited for Pushpa 3 and Kalki 2 rather than, any new film or small peanut film like Krrish 4 or any other film.

Hi team 5ocial, I was really disappointed to not see dulquer salmaans, 'Lucky Bhaskar'. Not only me but a large majority of audiences enjoyed the film. The non linear storytelling was like a cherry on top. I was really looking forward to your take on the film but I couldn't find any review of the film on the channel nor it is in ur list of the best films of 2024.

Hey Vishal. I didn't watch Merry Christmas due to the popular reviews calling it an okayish film, even a snoozefest. Just finished it, and it's probably the best Hindi film this year. A staging masterclass!

I agree ,OTT has more viewership and easily accesible for almost everyone but there are many people around who wishes to spend 3hrs watching in big screen with sound effects with their family and friends in a tightly packed theatres. some films are solely made for big screen experience which u wont get in small screen. coming to kalki yeah i too felt the mass scenes of prabhas as somewhat awkward but overall the cgi,vfx technical sides,story,plot,adapatation of indian mythology,bgm considering it as indian movie it was one of the best movie experience this year for me.

Although it has some great goosebumps moments but we can't judge a movie solely on the basis of moments , entry of an actor etc .
@@snkrack7943 this year itself i watched 10+ movies in theatres only. I agree ,OTT has more viewership and easily accesible for almost everyone but there are many people around who wishes to spend 3hrs watching in big screen with sound effects with their family and friends in a tightly packed theatres. some films are solely made for big screen experience which u wont get in small screen.
coming to kalki yeah i too felt the mass scenes of prabhas as somewhat awkward but overall the cgi,vfx technical sides,story,plot,adapatation of indian mythology,bgm considering it as indian movie it was one of the best movie experience this year for me.
Just skip bewda prabhas and everything will be fine

NO MAINSTREAM movie reviewer make video's around laapataa ladies ,allwe imagine as light, and other movies they choose only hyped movies and series Big l for them and there audience's. W social and the team .
Yes they would say audience don't watch good realistic Cinema but they also don't make videos around these Cinema but they will make a 10 min long video about a Salman khan's films teaser.
If you want audience to watch good movies, then first make videos around these good movies.
That's why 'social' is best.
I have watch very few of these: Maharaja, Merry Christmas, Laapata Ladies, Kill, Stree 2, Kalki. Now saving the list to watch them within Jan 2025.
