This is an awesome tutorial and it gave me an idea that maybe you could help me try to make. Do you think that a bowl could be carved by using this method?
I realize that this video is several months old, and that I may well not get a reply, but I'm wondering how you align all the layers without dowels or some sort of alignment marks.
Hello Grant. Thanks for the question. Well if I was to make this I would use dowels. In thins case we were just showing you how the slicing works. In saying that the Gorilla head I made a few years back used a combination of dowls and by-eye alingment. :)
@@vectric How to use dowels? The dowels would need to be into the underside of the top slice. Can slices be two sided so vectors can be copied to the underside?
@@vectric can I second the question for how to add dowels? Is there an automatic way for Aspire to add dowel holes in the right locations to each layer?
Excellent tutorial. Just what I was looking for. Thank you!!!
Glad you found it helpful!!!
Thank you. This was a clear and helpful explanation.
Thank you!
Thank you for the great explanation I will be using the slicing feature on a upcoming job.
Excellent! Thank you for your comment!

I believe it could... you would need to do a bit of testing... but I think it would be possible.
