BTS Wiki: "Otsukaresama Song", "Otsukare" (お疲れさまでした) is a song by SUGA and J-Hope of BTS. It is a single, and was released in November 9, 2016. It is important to note that BTS has been using the phrase before SOPE's debut of the song.
Otsukare is the Japanese phrase for "thank you for your hard work" or "you've worked hard". The phrase is usually utilized as a way to express your appreciation for a colleague's work within your team.
During the BTS's First Japan Tour-Wake Up: Open Your Eyes, J-Hope came up for the melody combining it together with the phrase 'otsukare'. SUGA and J-Hope can be seen practicing their debut of 'Otsukare' during a 2016 BANGTAN BOMB. All of their hard work paid off as Otsukare debuted during a BTS Japan Official Fanmeeting Vol. 3."
Yoongi would only sing while wearing a glitter jacket and crazy dancing if it's with Hoseok. Also, Otsukare it's not a cover! Hobi created the song just for fun and it became the Sope anthem
Hobi always sing Otsukare to their staff with this tune, then Yoongi suggested that they make a song out of it
Hobi brings out a side of Yoongi that is naturally there but that lies dormant until someone or something coaxes it out of him. Yoongi really is such a playful goofball at heart but he doesn't show it as often. It's heartwarming to see him show off that side of himself. He truly is so soft around Hobi and even though Hobi is younger, I feel like Hobi dotes on him often like he does with the maknae line. But I think Hobi just happens to have a naturally nurturing spirit so he'll just pour love onto any tannie who's nearby. I love their friendship so much. There's so much mutual respect and adoration there. BTS has some of the best duos I've ever seen. They really show how many ways you can be a good friend depending on different personalities and dynamics.
Yoongi and Hobi are so different but they complement each other so well! 💜 I really miss this duo so much 😭 Sope is ICONIC
Otsukare is 💯 percent a Sope original but they've actually done an OT7 performance of it as well that's totally worth a watch.

Otsukare is one of my absolute top songs to mood boost me. The way Yoongi bugged Jhope to let him make this a full song from the little tune and phrase Jhope was using. It’s peek BTS awesome. There are even a few OT7 performances because I know the maeknae line begged to perform it too. The fact it’s got such sweet reassuring lyrics is also peek BTS. Yoongis variety of songs he makes is really from this and That That to Haegum 😂💜💜

Most Korean trot music is in Korean, about Korean concepts and places in Korea. But Sope's song is in Japanese, since they developed it based on the Japanese phrase. It was perfect for the fan-meeting in Japan! Notice at the end they did a full bow - on their knees - for the Japanese ARMYs.
The glittery jackets and the memes on the screens add to the trot aesthetic in Sope's performance.✨✨✨ When all of BTS did a stage performance of it, they all wore glittery jackets in a variety of colors.
