Each has his own talents and character. Together we are of one mind, one heart, on the way to God.
In this video, you will hear a few of stories of how men came to the Augustinians, from Novice Tom Abbott, age 23, to Fr. John Byrnes, retired friar and Minister of Presence.
You will hear of career paths that led men through the Pentagon, Criminal Defense, Painting, and more. Yet, all of these men were able to find a place to utilize their talents and backgrounds within the Augustinian Order. In one Call, there may be many ministries.

And looking fantastic too.
Wow I never knew this!
Hello father I wish to joint in Augustinian order
Well said! I’m publishing a weekly RUclips video on episodes from the life of Don Bosco, entitled ST JOHN BOSCO by JOE ZAMMIT. In this series I’m narrating events and miracles from the splendid life of Don Bosco. St John Bosco used to perform a miracle almost every day, through the intercession of Mary Help of Christians. From the lives of saints we can learn how to love God more and draw closer to him. Thank you
hello you can message them just find their website man
Would have liked to hear from some religious brothers of this order! Nice video though..
Wow I didn't know laymen could bless....what's the point of the priest?
Priests have more preparation than lay people and they have consecrated their lives to live in the way that Jesus did. They have the job of navigating people to live meaningful and God-centered lives. In fact, when you go to confession they offer advice and are a type of psychologist. The priests have that special bond and are chosen by God to be the spiritual leaders of the Catholic people. If you want to find out more about what makes Priests and laypeople different contact tour local priest and ask them.
Fr Albert Hillebrand got away on this world, as a sex pervert. After abusing me thru my teen years, he drugged me to death.l
When there are no priests the layman should bless. There are places where a priest manages three parishes and churches where masses are held once every two or three weeks. In these situations lay people and deacons become very important.
I m osa
And I'm a Christian. A follower of Christ, not a saint.
The Augustinians are pretty liberal.I doubt they are getting many vocations.
Wrong!
What does that even mean?
it's still up to the person. I am traditional catholic and I still practice traditional views.
Liberal, traditional are just labels mainly used in The USA, Canada and Europe. It's not who you are and what views you have. Its who is Jesus Christ? Who is God the Father. I doubt if you made it to heaven these labels- liberal, traditional are very useful.
