This presentation will dive into the energy data reported through the Building Energy and Disclosure Ordinance (BERDO) in the City of Boston in 2021. The following questions will be answered through graphics:
• When will the average building fall out of compliance with BERDO carbon emissions intensity requirements?
• What is the average energy mix of the reported buildings? How many are all electric?
• Can we see a difference in energy use intensity based on building age?
• What is the variance in energy use intensity across buildings of the same type?
• Are buildings in Boston performing better than the national average?
