I think the statutory lower limit is 11.5 years. The sentencing hearing will be interesting.

I don't think lawyers should be allowed to blatantly lie during closing arguments since that's the last thing the jurors hear. Those prosecutors were just disgusting.
Yeah and they accuse Ashley of manipulating the jury 🙄 they've lied, change their theory, and hypothesised about stuff the defense presented actual facts

She was found guilty by a jury of her peers! They got it right. Opening & closing arguments are not the law. The jury followed the law & didn’t believe her BS theory. IF she was in such fear why tell him to come over to help with packing?
If the judges allowed the whole truth in this woman would be free - disgusting
Yeah he put a tracking device on her car, was caught by the neighbor trying to look in Ashley's windows, was secretly recording their counseling sessions, and was trying to rent the house immediately behind Ashley's house while a protection order was in effect. Also in the what'sup app text messages Doug came off as possessive and violent.
Plus how can the jury even convict her when the corner said that the forensic evidence fits Ashley version of what happened
Terrible injustice. DB was a control freak, and had to have her at any cost. I wonder if DB had wrestled the weapon from her, and she was dead, would the same people calling her guilty, be saying he was guilty? With the same evidence allowed?
