This short video explains the concept of descriptive statistics. There are two branches of statistics. Descriptive statistics and Inferential statistics. Suppose a business analyst selects the sample from the population and collects data from the selected sample. If a business analyst is using data gathered on a sample to describe or reach conclusions about that same sample, the statistics are called descriptive statistics. Thank you for watching.
