Great vid and I appreciate you saying you’re not a scholar, me neither. It is fun/interesting to discuss though! So…..Here’s the thing: while the Red Heifer prophecy will likely trigger events in the region, good/bad, the prophecy falls under the Law of Moses. So, if Christ fulfilled the Law of Moses, then He was actually the last, metaphorical, Red Heifer and literally did away with the need for another sacrifice. Of course the Jewish people don’t recognize Christ as messiah, let alone fulfilling the prophecy, so they are moving forward with it and likely soon. Lastly, their enemies in the region are aware of this intention and are doing what they can to prevent it. Interesting to consider the timing of it all. 😊

Even though the sacrifice of the red heifer is not expressly a sign of the Second Coming of Christ, as you suggested, it could spark major conflicts in the Middle East that ARE prerequisite.

    • @UltraDoug

@@PhillipOgden totally agree. Not a necessary sacrifice, but prophesied nonetheless and will certainly trigger further unrest.

If you're interested in studying it more, I'm willing to listen to what you have learned. I first heard about the "red heifer" from Jared at Christian Homestead, but have since fallen off listening to his videos. Something changed, whether it was him, or me, that made me not watch or listen to his videos.

I’ve read a lot about the red heifer prophecy. And about the two servants of the Lord. Or apostles that will die in Jerusalem. And it’s my understanding that they both will be named David. We have two apostles right now with the name of David. Whether it’s them or someone else, I don’t know. Thank you.

I haven't read about it recently, but I remember the prophecy being two missionaries, not two apostles. But I may be thinking of another scripture.

References of the 3rd temple in the Bible: Daniel ch. 9, 2 Thess 2.
Anti- Christ will appear 75 days before the rapture, and among these 75 days, for 30 days , he will stop the sacrifice, stand in the temple and proclaim himself as God. (Also, 2 Thess 2: 4). He is given 42 months/1260 days to rule over the earth after rapture. Daniel 9:27 is talking about the evil system . Daniel 12:11, 12 says, “And from the time that the regular sacrifice is abolished, and the abomination of desolation is set up, there will be 1290 days. How blessed is he who
keeps waiting and attains to the 1335 days”. 1260+30=1290; 1260+75=1335. Upcoming U.S elections are very significant as per the Book of Revelation. The glory of USA (Babylon, the Great; Rev-ch. 17, 18) is coming to an end; The 8th empire has to rise which is the one world government. 42 months/ 1260 days/ time (one year), times ( 2 years) and half a time ( 1/2 years) mentioned in the Book of Daniel as well as the Book of Revelation = 3.5 years with 30 days a month).

I loved how you took the beliefs of the Jews and Christians and pointed to spiritual preparedness. To become the wise virgins.
The third temple and Red Hefer it not our beliefs. There is really no scriptures that points to a third temple.
As Latter-day Saints our prophets have revealed there will be a Temple in Jerusalem and Jerusalem will be a mellinium capital. There will be another blood sacrifice but it will happen at New Jerusalem by us according to D&C 13:1, Ezekiel 43 81-27, D&C 128:24, and Joseph Fielding Smith; Doctrine of Salvation (v3: p. 93-94). The sons of Levi will Join the Church and become refined to offer that sacrifice at the end of this dispensation before the mellinium starts.
    D&C 133
    18 When the Lamb shall stand upon Mount Zion, and with him a hundred and forty-four thousand, having his Father’s name written on their foreheads. 19 Wherefore, prepare ye for the coming of the Bridegroom; go ye, go ye out to meet him. 20 For behold, he shall stand upon the mount of Olivet, and upon the mighty ocean, even the great deep, and upon the islands of the sea, and upon the land of Zion. 21 And he shall utter his voice out of Zion, and he shall speak from Jerusalem, and his voice shall be heard among all people;
    D&C 84:
2 Yea, the word of the Lord concerning his church, established in the last days for the restoration of his people, as he has spoken by the mouth of his prophets, and for the gathering of his saints to stand upon Mount Zion, which shall be the city of New Jerusalem.

The more I study about the red heifer sacrifice the more I believe there won't be another red heifer offered, or at least one that is acceptable to the Lord. Christ fulfilled or completed the "red heifer" offering in Gethsemane, He being the 10th such offering since Moses. The number 10 also signifying complete in Hebrew. There had been nine red heifers sacrificed prior to Christ.
It's not generally understood that the red heifer offering was a sin offering used for the purification from the defilement from death. It was the only such burnt sacrifice made outside the temple or tabernacle. The location is also significant in that it was to be done directly East of the temple, and the priest making the offering must be able to see the door of the Holy Place from where it was made so he could springle blood (IE greats drops of blood) towards it. It was the only burnt offering that required a complete and total consumption of the animal by fire, the resulting ashes were then used mixed with water were used to purify. This alter, place or location of this red heifer offering was considered an extension of the temple. It was performed on the mount of olives probably close to or the exact location Christ was at in the Garden of Gethsemane when He made His complete and total offering to purify and save us all from the fire of hell, and eternal death that would otherwise come from any sin we would commit.
When Christ comes to Jerusalem and sets His foot on the mount of olives for the second time, He will be dressed in red, the same as a red heifer. Then will the Jews recognize and see Him as that purifying offering and sacrifice which was already made for them. Then with a broken heart and contrite spirit will the Jews be able to complete the temple and make a righteous and acceptable offering unto the Lord, in the name of their Messiah. Keeping the Lord's command that "ye shall offer up unto me no more the shedding of blood; yea, your sacrifices and your burnt offerings shall be done away, for I will accept none of your sacrifices and your burnt offerings. And ye shall offer for a sacrifice unto me a broken heart and a contrite spirit."

I’m not a scholar either, but this is definitely interesting to consider. And it obviously appears to be causing some major world events. Christ did fulfill the law of Moses, but we don’t know exactly what will happen with scriptures like this. Some may be literal, and some may be symbolic. And not always what we think. This may be something the Jews need to do to help prepare them to be ready to accept Jesus Christ as the Messiah.
Malachi 3:2-3, Doctrine and Covenants 13:1, and Doctrine and Covenants 128:24
all refer to the refiner’s fire and the sons of Levi making an offering in righteousness, and it sounds as if that will happen near the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. I pray that is soon, but it may not be.
I’ve been wondering why they haven’t made the sacrifice yet. Who knows, maybe it is being delayed so it will actually happen after Jesus comes back, and then it could be offered again in righteousness. But maybe not.

    Red cows?
Shouldn't instead be a discussion about priesthood authority? And how blood sacrifice was ended? Why are so many putting their hopes on cows by people who are not authorized? It seems like it could stir trouble and risks rejection if they don't have the priesthood and it isn't the type of sacrifice the Lord intends. They could be taking "sons of Levi" as a tribal tradition rather than a priesthood meaning. Even if we get a batural heir of the priesthood... they have to be ordained and chosen to become a bishop; birth lineage isn't enough... they have to have the priesthood. Just my take on this so far.

I’m curious if you watched the video, because I admittedly said I don’t know that much about the red heifer but that it points to Jesus Christ… Jews however are still looking for their messiah to come. So naturally for them this is still relevant.

God is smart on using a red heifer because red is a lot of attention you see for the enemy ,the red heifer is the the muleta , God is the matador and the bull (Satan)is the enemy with its satans followers so yes by using the red heifer he draws in the ending so he can go in for the kill.

Ok so what was the purpose of Jesus's crucifixion???
Once and for all no more sacrificial offerings. He was the only and last. Don't be decieved. Do you not believe he is the final sacrifice for yours and many sins??
Do you live under the law?? Then you will need to sacrifice an animal. Read you Bible. Old testament each animal had its purpose for what it was being offered for.
