You’re right, celebrities don’t have “special genes,” but they look so good because they can pay for the best doctors, therapies and treatments, they also tend to eat really well and exercise.
No, it's just makeup and photoshop for most of the time. Some celebrities, like a lot of normal people, age very well. It's not plastic surgery. Just genes.
I am 71. I have loved going to the movies since I was a child. Whatever cosmetic procedures may or may not have been done on actresses in the last 60 years, many actresses considered beautiful when they were 20 did have a genetic endowment that guided their development. (As does everyone.). So if you haven’t seen old movies, it might make a difference to see for example Elizabeth Taylor, Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, Paulette Goddard, Hedy Lamar, Rita Hayworth, Vivian Leigh, Lucille Ball, Joan Crawford, Greta Garbo, Julie Andrews, Betty Grabel, Lauren Bacall, Judy Garland, Grace Kelly, Natalie Wood - these are off the top of my head. All of them superb actresses. There are natural beauties. A more modern representative of this who always comes to mind for me - Angelina Jolie, quite young when she played in Gia.
@@emilyforcade2995 Marilyn Monroe was forced to get a nose job when she was still going by her real name, Norma Jean. She was lovely before the nose job, as well as after of course, but her beauty isn't completely natural.
@@Xyzeezeezee I never thought it was real too until a friend pointed it out. I was looking at all these new reality star daughters that are major models now, Kendall, Bella, Gigi, and how perfectly tiny their waists were, and yet how full and curvy their hips were, and I kept thinking Kendall, Gigi, Bella and co cannot have have struck the genetic lottery THAT hard. Well, turns out they didn't. I mean what are the odds that you're born into a filthy rich family, with a naturally gorgeous face and literally the PERFECT body? Long perfectly proportionate and toned legs, long slender neck, long arms, perfectly sized boobs for a model, long torso with tight abs, tiny waist but perfect curvy hips. I was like HOW is that possible? But apparently, just like with ass shots, it's fat transfer. The doctor builds out new, slightly curvier hips with transfered fat to give them the PERFECT body. So they can be as slim as possible without losing that womanly supermodel curve with the hips. Once you realize it it's SOOO obvious. Kylie, Kim and Khloe got it done too.
@@Paul94096 😂😂 hips 😂😂😂😂 do u know what hips are ,u been to africa specifically southafrica, they look slender and have no perfect body structure due to insane heing and being really thin, even kylie look at her face
Just saying Angelina Jolie lips are real, when you look at very old photos of her ( being a child of an actor you can find them easily) when she was about 7/8 years old her lips were even bigger! And her biological children have her lips as well :)
Oh and how come the lower lip became smaller and the top lip got bigger? Lol. Angelina has had more work done than most celebrities it's insane. And yes, even the lips, even if indeed she had a big Lower lip to begin woth.
Zzzsszzz zzzssszzzss hun do you see my lips? I’ve had these soup coolers all my life...40yrs. They’ve always looked the same. My bottom lips has always been bigger than my top lip. It didn’t decide to trade places when I got older. My son lips were huge as a baby and they still are.
It's customary for plastic surgeons to suggest surgery even when it isn't the case. If someone who looks great is said to have had surgery, it motivates commoners to get the same procedures-aka money in the pockets of surgeons. A lot of people are not familiar with the business aspect and will automatically eat up the suggestions as fact simply because of a job title.
May I offer a little advice? It would be better if, when talking about each celebrity you didn’t have the photos of them so tiny and in the corner of the screen~ instead make the photo full screen while you describe the surgeries each celeb you suspect had done in the background? Hope that makes sense, just trying to help! 😃
Agreed. Just found this channel and really liked the video overall, but would have liked bigger celeb pics just to have an easier time seeing what was being talked about.
I also agree! GREAT content, great vid, great Tuber! I do enjoy watching you as you speak tho so for me, I'd personally like it if u half screened the shit. 😀😘
@@DrSarahTonks Like I remember the exact episode, when Kylie got her lips done again and Kendall was shading her a lot for overdoing it and just in general, how everyone is beautiful and nobody needs anything. Yet few months later she got her nose reconstructed (at least its obvious to me), cheek fillers, lips, brows ... Same with people defending Bella not getting a job. Hey at least it's a good one, why not admit it haha
Looks like Bella had an eye lift as well, or something along the lines of that. She had very hooded eyes before. You can actually see her eyelids now. Apparently she's denying it. Why do that, it's so obvious. She looks like a different person.. or the before pic of her looks like it could be a relative.. resembles her a bit.
18CYN18 because there is a lot of shame regarding cosmetic procedures still. I think that’s the bigger question why, everyone does it but nobody talks about it and when they do they get negative comments. The most positive thing someone will say usually is “but you didn’t need it”!!!
@@DrSarahTonks the problem is the image there're trying to portray. They want the public to believe they were just born that way, naturally. Personally I don't think there's anything wrong with getting surgery but just don't lie about it.
She does look like a different person. While I am definitely pro cosmetic surgery and procedure (people should get to look their best), there is something unsettling about an above average person becoming a beautiful (totally different) person. There are so many beautiful women that don't need much assistance - it feels sort of unfair to them.

It's extremely sad and messed up that women are not allowed to age naturally by society but men are. I'm not hating on the women that have had work done but it would be better if they didn't feel the need to :/
Exactly. Men get "better" with age. That's why they can dye their hair salt and pepper on purpose and women love it. Women on the other hand need to "keep themselves up" and if we have a few grey hairs forget about it.
n n because theyre allowed to age. that’s the whole point of the comment. women get cosmetic surgery to look better because otherwise she’ll be called ugly
J Vei it’s biological. Women with neotenous (younger looking faces but not in a pedo way) because those are signs of fertility. The age of men in their prime are usually older than women because men are fertile for longer. But still, other signs of aging in men such as male pattern baldness is unattractive. This isn’t a men vs woman issue because it’s incomparable.
Miranda it’s biological, you can read my reply above for the reason. But in short, it all comes down to fertility. Also, what you said about only women being called ugly is obviously untrue. Balding men are called ugly all the time and a lot of the times with less subtly than with women.
@@welcometodmitrysworld just cause there's a lot, doesn't mean it's the majority and just because there's a lot of it in south korea does in no way shapre or form validate the question of who hasn't had their nose done. It is a very small amount of people. Probably not even 1% of the population.
Tips from someone who looks perpetually 12: moisturize, wear sunscreen, drink 3l water, eat your fruits and veggies and get anti oxidants in, avoid the sun and uv tanning beds and pollutants in products. Also be kind, hate less, try and mind you own business and meditate. Thanks doctor Seh, great video x
I agree, I'm 29 and I often get told I look 22 or 23... some people just age better than others. I have a fraternal twin sister and she looks much older than me because I've taken care of my skin more, we have different face shapes , and I use sunscreen everyday. You can definitely look younger (for a while anyway) with just with genes, good diet and basic skincare
Well, of course they do, but it's not very common. Most people are not that lucky :') I think she was just trying to point out that most people do not naturally look that young at that age, or as glamorous/gorgeous in general.
Bella Hadid DOES look incredible, whoever did her work is amazing. It just really disappoints me that she pretends she’s never had work done. I have no problem with people altering their faces, but pretending it’s natural just gives women, and especially the young girls that idolize her, the idea that they should look like that naturally because every model on Instagram looks very similar and has surgically gotten rid of features that girls are insecure about. If you are open about having surgery, girls don’t get the impression that EVERYBODY naturally looks like that and that there’s something wrong with them if they have a small upper lip, undereye circles, a bump on their nose or a larger nose, different proportions in their chins, hooded eyes/sagging eyebrows, etc. This things happen normally and when they inexplicably DON’T show up in everybody who is in the public eye it skews what young girls see as being normal. At least they can know “this model has had surgery because she likes it and it’s her job to look a certain way” and not think “everybody natural has perfect full lips, and I’m defective for not having them, I’m not normal”.
JanineBean I think you are right. There are more people who are aware of just how much surgery is done by people in the public eye. Christy Brinkley has had work done but nobody talks about her work or Nicole Kidman's face. If you are well liked you aren't discussed as much as Madonna.
I don't think it would matter if they admitted it wasn't natural. There are natural beauties that are totally natural and make women feel really insecure. How do I know? I'm a former international high fashion model who never had any surgery, women hated me in my 20s and 30s solely because of my looks. I have always been myself, kind and treat everyone with respect. My own Mother was overweight it gave me empathy for women who weren't as thin as I was. Lots of fashion models who are not famous are naturally beautiful. The nepo babies are the ones that needed procedures to look more like the natural beauty models that aren't as famous. The women I have modeled with in my lifetime are incredibly, stunningly beautiful, especially the ones I modeled with in Paris.
Please talk about Britney Spears! Her face is an absolute mystery to me. Over the years, you can see certain dimensions of her face change (eye shape, face shape, even her teeth are very different now.) She is beautiful and I love her, personally, but I would love to hear your take on it. Thank you for reading & I LOVED the video :)
I agree she has had work done but also know that having children can change your shape all over your body including the face. Hormones suck and have a life of their own. I used to have a slim oval shape face and now i am plumper in my cheeks and chin which i have always found super strange but now understand. Fyi i lost all my baby weight plus 10 pounds so its not like i gained weight in certain areas. Also, another strange thing - when you have severe depression, hormones also mess around with body structure but its easier to fix naturally than fighting with hormones from having children. Anyway, my two cents.
Beach Girl I mean through natural foods and exercise that is right for your body. You may have to try a lot of different things to find what works for your body but it'll be worth it. For exercise I would suggest a form of cardio that makes you sweat for af least 20-30/day cuz it will help get rid of toxins and stress you dont even know thats there. For food, just google natural menopause remedies and a ton of options will come up. Different foods work for different people though. Good luck.
Ethnicity has a lot do with with how we age. European heritage tend to show signs of aging much earlier than people with African roots that have melanin in their skin. Puerto Rican’s have a good percentage of African Dna. So it doesn’t surprise me that Jennifer Lopez age very well for a near 50 year old woman.
It's because of sun damage. Most people neglect sunscreen, and unfortunately for ethnic Europeans, not using adequate sun protection will age their skin faster than other ethnicities.
It's not just the melanin. That is just partially it. People of African descent have thicker oilier facial skin than people of European heritage. The thicker oilier skin makes it much more resiliant against lines and wrinkles. Combine that with the natural sun protection of melanin and you have a great recipe against skin aging. BTW...not sure if oilier is a real word😂
A lot of it has to do with good genes to begin with, our lifestyle, and what we put into out bodies; for example smoking and what we eat and drink. I live in Ireland, and we don't see much sun here over the course of a year, and yet some people still manage to look older than they are...
I love that you addressed Jennifer Lopez, I feel like she has very natural realistic work done in my opinion that it had me feeling bad for looking more tired in my early 30s vs her being close to 50..I feel like her look is so natural sometimes that she is constantly being praised for having “good genes” and glad to hear she has had some type of work done.
I loved that, too...I kept thinking how much more gorgeous and young-looking she is NATURALLY versus me! Made me feel better. (I was born in the same year as JLo...)
Honestly, genetics do play their role. My Grandmother looked about 50 when she was 80 & she hated elective surgery. My father is 70 & he looks about 60. I always joke that us Italians have olive oil in our vains so we stay hydrated & young forever! 🤣 Also, how you treat your body is a major factor in the aging process. Water, healthy food, sleep, exercise, relaxation, happiness &(for celebrities) copious amounts of money!
@@mfcyeahyouknowme my family is the same. My grandma did her eyebrows because the hair kinda fell out and she looks 50 even do shes almost 70. Little things like that make a huge difference
Melissa G omg your Italian? My family’s Italian too and I swear they don’t age. My friends think my mom was a teen mom when she had me but she’s 54. I have an uncle that looks 50 but he’s in his late 70s. I get all the time I look 15 when I’m 25
very informative, but would like the pictures to be larger while you talk about their work so we can compare. Not that we don't want to see your lovely face :)
Thank you thank you lovely for speaking the truth most people won't say out of fear of fans or whatever reason's backlash. Not planning to do any filler anytime soon but I adore your honesty. Subscribed to your channel
I agree about the wrinkles. I think people are way too fussed about them. Michelle Pfeiffer looks great and not like she's in some losing battle with age.
Exactly, I'm 52 no botox, fillers etc. I wear makeup, moisturise and use serums until there is no tomorrow, always make sure I have sort of glow (not like a disco ball) and you can't go wrong. Use colour on face, lips, cheeks, and bit of glow bit of gloss. I see older women on the bus and what makes them look lovely is that they are natural and attractive even with lines or wrinkles.
Enough $ and good doctors and anyone can look “ageless” and perfect. The rich can buy their looks at this point. Normal people can’t afford to have all this done, too busy worrying about surviving, paying bills, etc. Everyone else, good genetics, diet, exercise and spiritual grounding without all that money. I’ve seen lots of normal people who are mixed race, and other ethnicity who have had no work done, and they look amazing. Many ethnicities just age better compared to others or so it seems. One or two noticeable wrinkles at 50+ doesn’t make someone look old!
Here's the thing though... yes, they do have the doctors & the cash, but this is obvs the best they can do with it... & mostly, it's atrocious! You couldn't pay me to look like any of them do now. I doubt any of us would want a pillow face & a punched mouth, right?
I would have to agree. I find the European, coloured women looked younger as they have more of a tendency to oily skin and possibly olive complexion. These things make you look more youthful. But also it is a genetic thing, some people are just lucky.
But theyre all trans, they NEED to have all these procedures done, particularly as they start to be ravaged from years of taking hormones - they are not us - we dont require such extreme measure. We are REAL WOMEN. Exercise body and face, eating lots of veggies and fruit and we start to blossom again.
For the people who say "anyone should be able to do what they want" and things of that sort, Many of you complain about beauty standards placed on women. And if you don't think that's a problem, rethink it because it is hundreds of years old ( all women in paintings were portrayed having the same face based upon slightly varying beauty standards which were dependent on the period... while men were portrayed having their own unique faces). The reason why I, and any other woman, have the right to deem it as harmful is because it perpetuates the "ideal" beauty standards. We as women are made to feel we are attractive with certain sized features or without signs of aging. And when we age, we are basically useless (that is how many older women are perceived). The more women conform to these standards, the more we ALL will remain affected by these standards. Young women will continue to grow up feeling not good enough (just like you). Ladies, we are all going to age (if you're lucky enough to make it that far). We will not stay young and beautiful. How will you deal with that? I believe that confidence stems from more than our appearance. It is not superficial. I feel more confident the better I become at art, the more hobbies I pick up, the further along I come in my education. Don't let the idea and obsession with beauty hold you back. Even if you attain it, it's only temporary. After all, you probably don't want to be viewed or treated as an object. Don't treat yourself that way.
I agree with everything you said except for "We will not stay young and beautiful". It should be "we will not stay young but we are always beautiful"! Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and no matter the number, the wrinkles, the body and or all the aging, everyone is beautiful:-)♡. Including anyone reading this😊
I wish your message was followed by all women. Unfortunately, things will carry on the same. People will always want to be competitive or insecure enough to make these changes to their body. I assume it will only stop when it becomes unfashionable or undesirable. And then it'll be something else.
Jennifer Lopez is 48 years old I think. Exercising is the best ingredients for her youth. I am 47 years old, I never used any fillers on my skin, I don’t smoke, I don’t do drugs and I don’t drink alcohol. My friends and acquaintances often mistakenly that I was only in my 30’s. I believe in the saying. You are what you eat. Exercise and Healthy lifestyle is the only ingredients to slowing the aging process.
I agree! Jlo is a stickler when it comes to fitness and proper nutrition, if she had any work done- it was minor. Look at her when she is in swimsuit, the skin on her body is youthful too. So, it comes down to the old basics of taking care of yourself, good long time fitness habits, nutrition, Sun blocks as a must no matter the whether is sunny or rainy, and not smoking or any of those unhealthy habits is a given.
Anna Markova She’s naturally beautiful but don’t kid yourself, when rich celebrities rely on their appearance to stay relevant and employed, they will spare zero expense on staying young looking.
i tend to think all these toxins injected into ones body looks quite freakish, really....i wish women could just accept and love what they have and eat really healthy foods and exercise....this is really the best "cosmetics surgery".....just my thoughts, please don't attack moi xo
Dawna of course!! I totally agree with you that lifestyle is more important than any cosmetic intervention which is why it should be the foundation. These tweaks are much higher up the pyramid and definitely not the most important thing. Dermal filler probably won’t make you live better like diet and exercise will!!
Please don't judge. I hate that when someone says "I would never do that". I'm thinking "well then don't do it". It's not about you doing it- It's about me!
If that's the case, then it's interesting you should choose to intentionally watch a video about injectables. I find people do this in general because you feel your way is getter and when you criticize these people you feel morally superior to them. It's so obvious it's already taught in second year psych courses at University. I'll wager you've written this exact comment in other places as well. It's such a bore.
that was bad her work, Courtney's, never want to mess with the eye's. Only makes them look smaller, beedy and even older. Those puffy cheeks make them look like chipmunks. With all their money you would think they could find good reputable surgeons. I'm 51 haven't had any surgery but not saying I won't ;)
From your channel I learned how fillers work and how they don’t work. Actually, I was way more insecure because everyone looked so STUNNING but now I can compare two pics of let‘s say an influencer and I can tell whether she had fillers or not (mostly YES). 💗 Fillers, filters, anorexia, teeth bleaching, facials and a nose job. Backdoor to celebrity status.
lu sams I love Queen B but she looks amazing now. She’s clearly had a good amount of work done. The work looks good and is undetectable but it’s clear she did something by comparison to how she used to look.
@@Switirosu i don't know about lips but when she was in DC she had lipo on her waist and lower belly 100% there are some pics if u find those you can tell she had lipo
I agree. I am at the end of my 30's and thankful I never touched my face, as all women my age look older and utterly ridiculous with all that stuff shoved in there.
M Styles not always, it depends on your injector. I’m 39 and have a face full of fillers and Botox. The only things I get asked about are if my lashes are extensions and if my teeth are capped - and both are 100% untouched. Even my best friend thought I was just doing really good make up until I owned up. A very talented injector will make you look natural. I see Dr Zack Ally of Derma Medical, he’s one of the most talented injectors around.
I’ve heard a lot of derms and surgeons say that most people only notice that you’ve had work done when it’s been done badly. Maybe you’ve seen really well done fillers but you didn’t even know they were there. I suspect nearly all celebs start getting fillers and botox in their thirties.
Interesting. No one realized I had fillers in my lips when I had them done. I told only. Lose friends and they didn’t believe me at first. People with fillers also question me when I tell them I have them. My family didn’t even notice and they would have for sure called me out.
Very informative. When cheeks became a thing I was bummed. Has always been my unique feature. Seeing so many women overfilling and looking like a pillow face like Madonna. I’m getting the dreaded jowels and marionette lines giving me a permanent frown 😪😪. Any advice would be great.
I am 31 years old, I haven't gotten any work done, and I will not be getting any because I have Lupus SLE and Lupus DLE, and a lot of other physical diagnoses. I think when you are fighting every day to just funktion normally, all of that botox and fillers stuff, it doesn't really matter to me. But you All, you do you of course!
I feel so sorry for Bella & Kendall. I know they have lives many people aspire to but to alter yourself to be appreciated is a mixed up, future soul destroying message. And the sad thing is it was encouraged, probably suggested by their Mothers. Having tweeks along they way or corrective surgery is one thing but those girls are so young and in an industry that focuses so much on their looks, you’d have hoped their families would have worked more on their self esteem than surgery.
Hellokittie96 They look amazing & are thriving. But the notion of these young women feeling pressured to alter their faces, it’s not just a boob job, this is face altering, to be accepted into an Industry just gives me the fear for their future selves. We tell people to be comfortable in their own skin, accept yourself yet these young woman are ‘adored’ for their altered look.
Dr Sarah Tonks I have a 16yo niece and the influence & pressure is too much. It’s a shame. They don’t ever really get to love themselves because they are constantly criticising, changing. But it is today’s World. 🤯
Yes, the pics get very small on the phone when then moved to the lower left hand corner. We don't need to watch the doctor in order to hear her. Please less Doctor and more the pics of the work she is talking about.
I'm so sure he hasn't had any work done. Lol stop trying to turn everyone that looks good to have undergone some kind of artificial cosmetic treatment.
They are all transpeople of course, so are always desperately trying to pass as real women, you are a real female i presume, so why would you want to copy them. We are beautiful as we are, without going to such extremes, a few weeks of facial exercises and eating just veggies and juicing - brings us back to our full potential.
@@tagaway6173 Most celebrities look far better, lots go too far. It depends who you're looking at. Most of the jaw lines on males you see are enhanced drastically.
Jennifer Lopez does have genetics on her side. Not everyone is blessed to have genes that are not as quick to show age. JoLo & I are of the same age & we're both Latinas. I have oily skin & I've avoided the sun most of my life. Result... wrinkle free skin. Her lids are a little heavier than when she was dancing on In Living Color. She has aged, but very gracefully. Check out photos of her mother and you'll see where she got those genes. Her mom looks awesome!
Im latina too, and my family has amazing genes, but lets not be so innocent, she had work done. Obviously her genes play a huge part because she doesnt need that much work but still. Like I said in another comment, my grandma has amazing genes and she did microblending a couple of months ago and all of the sudden her eyes look more open, and that makes her look even younger.
What makes you think her mother hasn't had work done? Also, her mother has gained weight which can help fill out the face and keep it more youthful looking. Catherine Deneuve once famously said that when she reached a certain age she had to chose between her ass and her face. She chose her face. They didn't have so much available back then to keep the years at bay.
I think having money helps ... like having money for expensive facial treatments. She does take care of herself which helps too. If you see her sister she doesn’t look as youthful.
She does look great but 99.99% of middle aged Latinas I have seen look nothing like Jennifer Lopez. Not that they look bad but JLo looks like she has spent millions on her appearance.
It’s nice to see a doctor compliment beautiful work and explain why it’s first-rate, as well as explain how work could be improved when critiques are given.
THANK YOU for pointing out, HOW CELEBS AGE (or rather they don't) IS NOT NATURAL AND NOT EVERYONE WILL LOOK SO FLAWLESS WHEN THEY'RE 50! i have no problems with anyone doing these procedures, i'm sure i'll be interested when i'm older. but not everyone looks like this, and DEFINITELY the majority of us can't afford the procedures that CELEBS can. all i wish for is that there's more exposure for women who just age naturally, so we can stop 1. thinking women are ONLY beautiful 20-30s, and 2. thinking any woman is LESS for having wrinkles or imperfect skin 3. a woman in her mid-40s/50s should be wrinkle-free.
C Tran well, this is the world we are in I guess. I do have patients from all walks of life, who view it as an extension of their beauty routine but I hear you about the expense. Think also it depends where you are geographically as to how much it would cost
what gets me is 20 years ago it was 60/70 year old women getting facelifts, cosmetic surgery etc. but now they're in their early 20's and already getting botox and fillers. Lines and wrinkles are treated like a skin infection, that needs to be treated and gotten rid of :) not the natural ageing process it is.......such big bucks to be made in the cosmetic industry. Im 51 and haven't circumed yet, not to say I won't. There's something to be said for natural beauty and ageing.
MissHannah2036 patients can be divided into people who are trying to maintain what they have and those who are changing a feature. There is definitely an increase in those who are changing a feature
It's completely natural. It has a lot to do with genes. Lots of normal peopled age like that. You sound ridiculous. Plastic surgery does not make you look younger.
Oh my, first one of these videos I’ve watched, pretty strangely interesting, maybe just grow old gracefully, keep fit and healthy, so many negative myths about growing old.
I truly am jealous of women who just age naturally and stay in shape. I stay in shape but my appearance is such a source of anxiety for me, I have to get botox and fillers and all of it. You are both enviably secure in yourselves!

Another great video!! Can we discuss Christy Brinkley? I think she is really trying to looks super young went quite a bit overboard with all the procedures. Thanks!!!!

Love the video, I'm going to watch the 2nd one, just one idea though maybe make the celeb pictures a bit larger? I would like to see the detail when you describe the different areas of the face
Dr Tonks your a breath of fresh air. I wish you could go on TV and tell these really naive people that nearly all celebrities have had some work done and what you should/shouldn't do and what's natural looking enhancement.
This is just my opinion but I think every single one of these people look sooooo much better before they got work done. I understand if someone got into an accident and it completely messed up their nose (or anything similar) but to get cosmetic surgery to change your appearance is discouraging and you fall victim to your insecurities instead of embracing them 😭
Usually their before pictures are like 10yrs younger lol. Regular ppl dont need plastic surgery because u arent judged for appearance 24/7 like celebrities
Any reason why we don't see the before&after pictures in full screen mode (with 'Dr Sarah Tonks' PIPed) WHILE she's talking about these "transformations"??!
Omg I love this!!!! Thank you for not being afraid of telling what you feel may be the accurate truth on these celebs. Can you go over what kylie Jenner has done to increase her hips ? I know she's 100% altered just curious as to what you feel she has done ty !
One suggestion that I think would made your videos more festive: would you flip the cameras so that we can see the celebrity photos closer as your critiquing them? Thanks!
Dr Sarah Tonks yes and a entertaining one too ! I really enjoyed your videos today I’m sure ur channel will blow up soon it’s a really good idea well done you 💕 xxx
You know the thing I’m noticing with so many celebrities is their teeth. Like Cher, I thought her natural teeth fit her look. Her eye teeth were nice and then I noticed her teeth were too straight and her eye teeth were just flat and uninteresting. Celine Dion also. Teeth aren’t jewelry they can be bright white but when they look more like porcelain casts perfectly lined up with no natural variation I think it very unbecoming.
I find this video very helpful - would love to hear more about ratios, faceshapes and considerations to making work look more natural and flattering plus what does the opposite. Thanks for posting, I subbed!
well, we all end up in a grave or in ashes within a 100 years, doesn't much matter what your jib looks like or how much crap you got put into it, what matters is how you treated those around you, your character, your love and compassion, your relationship with God, charity and mercy, forgiveness, not your looks, matters a bit when your putting yourself out there to get married, but people should care a little less about looks, and a LOT more about health.
2Bdiscovered overpriced crap. nothing worse that someone who had work done selling crap. like khloe with her excercise garbage she was feeding the public. waist trainers when they had lipo and tummy tuck etc..
Good Gawd- NO WAY would Bella Hadid be considered a “supermodel” without rhinoplasty- she had her fathers nose which was large and hooked- the second I saw her it was obvious to me she’d had rhinoplasty yet it still looks very bizarre and A MILE LONG!
Hey !Hey I agree that she wouldn’t be a model hadn’t she had her nose done, I do not agree with the second part though, I think it looks very natural and very attractive now
Can’t relate Different aesthetics for different folks- simple as that 😊 The entire reason it screams rhinoplasty and looks wholly Unnatural to me is how Looooong it is! ❄️HAPPY HOLIDAYS❄️
I think it's fairly ironic that Gigi had always been targeted and groomed by their mother to be the 'supermodel' ... and Bella was sidelined as the plain little sister. For this reason, alone, I love that Bella is the main attraction these days. Props for the Ugly Duckling! 👍
I like you, Dr Sarah. You’re polite, and the comments about your own lack of dress-up grooming aren’t quite fair. I’ve worked with plastic surgeons as publicist, and I experimented with PRP, ultrasound, fillers, Botox etc. over the past 20 years. Most good doctors are too busy to plaster on Instagram makeup on a daily basis. It would be fun to see you team up with a makeup RUclipsr like Lisa Eldridge or Wayne Gods, etc. - get a full makeup!
I was just reading your description box & I couldn’t believe that people have told you to go & have work done! But then I read some of the comments below & people are so nasty to each other!! One person told another to stop existing because they had a different opinion for theirs. What is wrong with these people?!! I’ll probably get hate for this post too! Good video, you have a very interesting profession!!
Dr Sarah Jones , as you mentioned , if we don't want to have saggy skin after 30 years of having fillers done, lets say at the age of 60, is skin tightening a must from the very beginning of starting doing fillers? Even at the age of mid 20s? And having so much injections dissolved in the face for decades, how could this affect one's health? Thank you for your answer, love your videos?
Andrea szegő maybe not mid 20s but certainly it done leave it too late! I’d say from 30 onwards. But everyone is different, some people who are very slim it won’t work well for because you can get fat breakdown
in future vids can you show the celeb pics full screen whilst talking about the procedures? Its hard to see on my laptop when they are just posted in the bottom corner of your video:) Thanks!
Microneedling with PRP needs to be included in the list. PRP = Platelet Rich Plasma. They draw your own blood and separate the types of cells. Isolate the clear serum, as it contains PRP. PRP has growth factors and even stem cells. They then microneedle the face with a handheld wand-like device that provides micro-punctures in the face, then your rub the PRP inside the holes. The punctures heal very quickly and you shed dead skin the next week or two. As it heals you are rubbing in extra serum and hyaluronic acid. It completely regenerates the skin, a few treatments of this and you lost 5 years in your face and regrew a bunch of collagen. This is definitely what is being done with many celebrities to keep youthful skin.
the obsession with "beauty" or maintaining youth creeps me out...people are crazy to me, even more so when they 1.get these treatments when they really didn't need them 2.these treatments produce the opposite results of what they were intended to
Nice information! Could you do Dove Cameron? Her lips increase with each passing year and probably has had a nose job done, however, she's completely silent on that matter 😶
Whatever. We are all born human. Humans age at a higher rate starting in the mid '40s. If one has lots of cash, the treatments begin and must be maintained on a 3-month basis. Then surgery as time progresses. Just a FACT of life for anyone in the public eye.
I’m wondering how long do you have to learn here in the us to get your certification for doing fillers and stuff anyway..... last thing i heard that for example mircoblading is a 2 week class
You are the sweetest. I think your channel is going to be my new addiction. i had rhinoplasty, get lip fillers, and have porcelain veneers on my upper teeth so I find this stuff fascinating.
You’re right, celebrities don’t have “special genes,” but they look so good because they can pay for the best doctors, therapies and treatments, they also tend to eat really well and exercise.
Raw In Progress Chris Rock says the best skin care is money 😂
Marianne Amy what are pearly whites? Teeth?
@@emilyforcade2995 Marilyn Monroe was forced to get a nose job when she was still going by her real name, Norma Jean. She was lovely before the nose job, as well as after of course, but her beauty isn't completely natural.
Bella Hadid says she didn't get anything done, because she thinks people are stupid.
Bella's nose...it's absolutely awful, like someone stuck it in a pencil sharpener :(
They all say that. For some reason, it's sort of considered something of a taboo for celebrities to get cosmetic surgery.
She also got her hips done
L. Amoros Angelina has had surgery on her lips. She had her lips minimized. Her bottom lip was much bigger when she was younger.
Oh and how come the lower lip became smaller and the top lip got bigger? Lol. Angelina has had more work done than most celebrities it's insane. And yes, even the lips, even if indeed she had a big Lower lip to begin woth.
Angelina has had some work done, it's pretty obvious to a trained eye. But her beauty was superb to begin with
Zzzsszzz zzzssszzzss hun do you see my lips?
Maggie MacDonald thanks! Yes in the newer videos it’s more like this, didn’t think it through when the video was made
Seriously!!!!! It's really annoying looking at it like that!

The whole K family- poor role models for our younger women, to say the least as well as Hadid etc..
Do any of them ever tell the truth??!
Eyes, nose, lips. Yeah, she is not natural at all. At that age, getting plastic surgery. I don’t understand at all
Looks like Bella had an eye lift as well, or something along the lines of that.
The most positive thing someone will say usually is “but you didn’t need it”!!!
a lot of models lately do that eyebrow lift, bella def did it. she basicallt redid her whole face n looks a lot like young carla bruni now
@@DrSarahTonks the problem is the image there're trying to portray. They want the public to believe they were just born that way, naturally. Personally I don't think there's anything wrong with getting surgery but just don't lie about it.
yeah def so bad shes lying
She does look like a different person. While I am definitely pro cosmetic surgery and procedure (people should get to look their best), there is something unsettling about an above average person becoming a beautiful (totally different) person. There are so many beautiful women that don't need much assistance - it feels sort of unfair to them.

Storie Smith....so true lol
This isn’t a men vs woman issue because it’s incomparable.
n n that is very untrue.
Miranda it’s biological, you can read my reply above for the reason. But in short, it all comes down to fertility. Also, what you said about only women being called ugly is obviously untrue. Balding men are called ugly all the time and a lot of the times with less subtly than with women.
Please do the same with Beauty Gurus!
@Touching The Rainbow yes. So many look so different - even their teeth.
Sickening that women aren't allowed to age gracefully.
Ray of Light why? Men have shown time after time they only prefer pretty women!
They are allowed but choose not to. Why not look your best?

JanineBean
B MW thank you I am glad you liked it
I agree she has had work done but also know that having children can change your shape all over your body including the face.
She is probably on psych meds too
Beach Girl I mean through natural foods and exercise that is right for your body. Good luck.
I love britbrit but she’s lookin a lot like Momma spears now
Ethnicity has a lot do with with how we age. European heritage tend to show signs of aging much earlier than people with African roots that have melanin in their skin. Puerto Rican’s have a good percentage of African Dna. So it doesn’t surprise me that Jennifer Lopez age very well for a near 50 year old woman.
I was just about to say this
It's because of sun damage.
Asians age much slower. We stay away from the sun.
I’m 100% sure Bella Hadid did her face inspired by Carla Bruni and she does look great.

Marylou Holden it’s definitely not magic

Honestly, genetics do play their role. My Grandmother looked about 50 when she was 80 & she hated elective surgery. My father is 70 & he looks about 60. I always joke that us Italians have olive oil in our vains so we stay hydrated & young forever! 🤣 Also, how you treat your body is a major factor in the aging process.
@@Ad_Astra_321, Amen!
Exercise body and face, eating lots of veggies and fruit and we start to blossom again.
yep thats true. i only got lip fillers and it costed nearly $400 let alone needing to do it twice a year
For the people who say "anyone should be able to do what they want" and things of that sort,
Many of you complain about beauty standards placed on women.
Helms Deep yes!
and vanity is a sin.
I agree with everything you said except for "We will not stay young and beautiful". It should be "we will not stay young but we are always beautiful"! Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and no matter the number, the wrinkles, the body and or all the aging, everyone is beautiful:-)♡. Including anyone reading this😊
Let’s hug!

I was thinking the same thing. She needed a pic from her 'Fly Girl' days👍🏽
Courtney Cox looks like Catelyn Jenner.
True but I first though cher
that was bad her work, Courtney's, never want to mess with the eye's. Only makes them look smaller, beedy and even older. Those puffy cheeks make them look like chipmunks. With all their money you would think they could find good reputable surgeons. I'm 51 haven't had any surgery but not saying I won't ;)
Caitlin's face looks more feminine than Courtney's in that pic, straight up Mickey Rourke
With a concrete face lol
She was so beautiful. A shame, but maybe that's a really bad picture of her.
Courtney Cox and Madonna looked swollen..😱
And there’s no such thing as a natural looking kartrashian
Hey that's not true. Their dad looked natural lol
From your channel I learned how fillers work and how they don’t work. Actually, I was way more insecure because everyone looked so STUNNING but now I can compare two pics of let‘s say an influencer and I can tell whether she had fillers or not (mostly YES).
💗
Fillers, filters, anorexia, teeth bleaching, facials and a nose job. Backdoor to celebrity status.
Name less THANK YOU for saying this!! This is the whole point of the videos!!
Beyonce 100% filled those smile lines i remember those dents and now she has baby cheeks.
lu sams I love Queen B but she looks amazing now. She’s clearly had a good amount of work done. The work looks good and is undetectable but it’s clear she did something by comparison to how she used to look.
@@loveislouderrrrr probably just fillers because facial features didn't really change
@@mariahferro3534 yeah, "a good amount of work" is an overstatement, in the same breath she says its "'undetectable", so which is it? lol
Also she had a nose job at 16, fillers in lips and a tummy tuck after first child🤫👐🏾
@@Switirosu i don't know about lips but when she was in DC she had lipo on her waist and lower belly 100% there are some pics if u find those you can tell she had lipo
"Doesn't look like it naturally occurs in nature." Exactly.
I get a kick out of those in their 30's using fillers like this, I don't get, they never look natural, unnatural unbecoming
It's because you can only see the bad jobs
JLW 1006 I guess that’s the point of their careers though and they’ve done well out of it, financially at least, not sure about everything else
But it looks good and I’m sure they have high self esteems. I mean they are Victoria Secret supermodels.
JLW 1006 and that’s the dichotomy of the world we live in
Dr Sarah Tonks I have a 16yo niece and the influence & pressure is too much. It’s a shame. They don’t ever really get to love themselves because they are constantly criticising, changing. But it is today’s World. 🤯
Could you leave the photos up longer please
As in bigger please. I can see it as your talking on my phone
Gaahh it’s really frustrating I’m looking at it then it get all small.
Thanks for the idea! As our videos get more recent the photos become much larger so we've fixed this problem on the new ones
Yes, the pics get very small on the phone when then moved to the lower left hand corner. We don't need to watch the doctor in order to hear her. Please less Doctor and more the pics of the work she is talking about.
sah bear literally just pause them
Dr Tonks, don't you think Kendall has had a rhinoplasty too? I don't think you mentioned that
Louise Høeg No it’s contouring
KNG N no she’s had a nose job ... contouring can only slim the nose not change the shape
Her nose looks the same to me.
+Jason Tillett it looks like it used to be wider in the bridge
@@tsigaraki_arvyla_xasan that's because she was smiling in that photograph
This is the most interesting video regarding fillers, face work etc.... LOVE your style and I could listen to you talk ALL DAY!! Lovely! 😊😊😊
Girl from the D I’m really glad you liked the video 😊
"Sharon in accounts and Stacy in logistics" Lmao I can't handle it
Jared Leto!!! He has not aged in 20 years. Please do a video on him!!!!
White Salt Photography excellent call for a man
Because he's a vampire!
@@kimmichaluk3072 😂😂😂
I'm so sure he hasn't had any work done. Lol stop trying to turn everyone that looks good to have undergone some kind of artificial cosmetic treatment.
laura aponte did him in a different video!
Sooo in short nobody is ugly, including ms .. is just some people have more money than mere mortal like me 😅
Sarah A they say that though don’t they, nobody is ugly, just broke 😂😂 it’s a meme
They are all transpeople of course, so are always desperately trying to pass as real women, you are a real female i presume, so why would you want to copy them. We are beautiful as we are, without going to such extremes, a few weeks of facial exercises and eating just veggies and juicing - brings us back to our full potential.
No all of them look better / beautiful.
So no.
Is not about the money.

@@tagaway6173 Most celebrities look far better, lots go too far. It depends who you're looking at. Most of the jaw lines on males you see are enhanced drastically.
Kendall looks 35 to be honest. I don’t understand why a puffy face is in.
@@Naforbe I'm sure she has spent a pretty penny. Most people that look flawless has done some type of treatment or another.
Kireina Luna you do realise this is my job
"Sharon in Accounts"! LOL I love this reference.
Oh my, first one of these videos I’ve watched, pretty strangely interesting, maybe just grow old gracefully, keep fit and healthy, so many negative myths about growing old.
👏👏
I truly am jealous of women who just age naturally and stay in shape. I stay in shape but my appearance is such a source of anxiety for me, I have to get botox and fillers and all of it. You are both enviably secure in yourselves!
Eww
You’re so beautiful 💖
YES absolutely. HEALTHY mature women are so beautiful. Age is something you earn.
Girl idk why, but I LOVEEEE these videos please don’t ever stop and don’t hold back, we love youuuu
So refreshing to see someone just talking candidly about her views and expertise! Thank you for being so honest! Really enjoyed 😊
Do britney spears face. She is literally unrecognizable.
LuciferH Sam omg she looks awful. over 50.
She doesn't look like she's had work done on her face, just fallen victim to poor aging.
@@IlikepurpleXP she literally has MJ nose these days, and her lips are jokery scary. She used to had beautiful smile, now its simply creepy. Her teeth are a mess, plus jer eyes are scary with jer black makeup
@purplepassion1 she doesnt drink. Shes been sober since 2008. She is a chainsmoker though. But she looks like she had face transplant. Not a single original feature left on her face.
@@IlikepurpleXP she did. She clearly has had a chin implant.
Could you do Julianna Moore?
She looks fantastic
She hasn't had any work done. She's a redhead so she's been extremely cautious about avoiding sun. She's talked a lot about how she always takes the shadowy side of the street etc.
Liane Milani she does
Another great video!! Can we discuss Christy Brinkley? I think she is really trying to looks super young went quite a bit overboard with all the procedures. Thanks!!!!
Aneta D I had to google her!!
I disagree she looks absolutely amazing and natural! Only like a more mature version of her young self! She's over 60 and is just as beautiful as she was back in the day!
I think she’d be much prettier had she opted to age naturally. JMO.
Loved when you said “when I was a kid... it was either team Britney or team Christina” you made them sound soooo old lol 😂😂😂😂😂
This is just my opinion but I think every single one of these people look sooooo much better before they got work done. I understand if someone got into an accident and it completely messed up their nose (or anything similar) but to get cosmetic surgery to change your appearance is discouraging and you fall victim to your insecurities instead of embracing them 😭
Except for Bella
Usually their before pictures are like 10yrs younger lol. Regular ppl dont need plastic surgery because u arent judged for appearance 24/7 like celebrities
Before they had work done they were young lol
Jlo loooked more ethnic in the early 90s. I love her work though, very tasteful
yes, she looked more hispanic, darker, curly hair too....
I just watched her in "Selena." My son said the only thing the same was her voice.
Any reason why we don't see the before&after pictures in full screen mode (with 'Dr Sarah Tonks' PIPed) WHILE she's talking about these "transformations"??!
Absolutely a great suggestion! I'll make sure this is rectified for tonights video
Thank you for sharing your expertise. I love your nail polish color! what is it?
Omg I love this!!!! Thank you for not being afraid of telling what you feel may be the accurate truth on these celebs. Can you go over what kylie Jenner has done to increase her hips ? I know she's 100% altered just curious as to what you feel she has done ty !
When I was younger I wanted to get a nose job (I have a button nose) and I hated my big lips and now I've grown to love these natural features!💯😆✋

Me too! I’ve managed to embrace my nose and heart shaped lips. I used to hate having oily skin now I LOVE IT 😂
One suggestion that I think would made your videos more festive: would you flip the cameras so that we can see the celebrity photos closer as your critiquing them? Thanks!
Pinning the insult: a stroke of genius. Love it! More people should try this to discourage the haters.
jenny taylor it also creates some fun debate
Hey Dr T, I would love to see you 10 years ago vs now ( or before nose redo). You look better and better every video!

When they go too far with the face lifts and fillers, then they get that joker look. It looks weird and unnatural,

Dr Sarah Tonks I will do hun I think your idea is amazing ❤️ xx
You know the thing I’m noticing with so many celebrities is their teeth. Like Cher, I thought her natural teeth fit her look. Her eye teeth were nice and then I noticed her teeth were too straight and her eye teeth were just flat and uninteresting. Celine Dion also. Teeth aren’t jewelry they can be bright white but when they look more like porcelain casts perfectly lined up with no natural variation I think it very unbecoming.
Who did your brows.....love😍...and I like the idea, they will calm down in a few days. Many thanks.....☺️
Jennifer Brown just a lady in Knightsbridge, I’ve seen her s few years

I’m about to fly from Florida to where you’re at! Also, I love how honest and secure you are about your past and future plastic surgery experiences.
I find this video very helpful - would love to hear more about ratios, faceshapes and considerations to making work look more natural and flattering plus what does the opposite. Thanks for posting, I subbed!
I cover more of this in the Friday videos
well, we all end up in a grave or in ashes within a 100 years, doesn't much matter what your jib looks like or how much crap you got put into it, what matters is how you treated those around you, your character, your love and compassion, your relationship with God, charity and mercy, forgiveness, not your looks, matters a bit when your putting yourself out there to get married, but people should care a little less about looks, and a LOT more about health.
HEY DR. SARAH, WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT MADONNA AND HER MDNA SKIN LINE?

I think my nose is really long! But really thin. It is kind of a weird trait. Most people don't have long noses. Maybe you're on to something.
Fascinating, Great to hear an Honest unbiased opinion from an expert. Clarified a lot about Cosmetic treatments and work 😍
I like you, Dr Sarah.
Michelle Kaylan Spain would really love that!
I'll grow old and keep my wrinkles!
Erin Mc the comment feed on this video never fails to amuse me tbh!! I come back every once in a while to see what’s popping off!!
Take collagen powder n eat non-processed foods.....vegies, some fruit, low sugar. Makes a HUGE difference!
in future vids can you show the celeb pics full screen whilst talking about the procedures?
People can be so naive...they think because they are "stars" they don't age like the rest of us.
Porcelain1 Exactly.
Remember ya'll you ain't ugly, just broke. XD
One can definitely go broke with all these treatments.
Porcelain1 Absolutely. Especially if it's done badly and then you have to fix it. XD Or you just end up looking crazy.
Theyre not born women though.
