  • This Inverter is a very efficient inverter. The Phocus inverter is an any grid inverter. This is a German brand inverter that we are excited to use on our solar.

Nice video. Looking forward to install and tell your opinion then.
I thought that was made in Germany and not in China.

interesting, Im also looking to instal 3 of them to a 3 phase solution for my house incl. 3 eCars. Its not easy with regulations in Germany for a self made solution. Im very excited to see more of your installation

Looking forward to seeing more on this. Something I might want to look into getting. I hate losing power and everything in my refrigerator ends up going bad.

I have installed five inverters in the last two years. Phocos AnyGrid has been the best so far. The firmware is programmed in a way that the inverter will utilise solar energy as much as possible before the grid, or battery. It is also one of the few inverters in the market which is flexible as both an off grid and can also be made to operate like a grid tied inverter. The fans are also not as noisy like other Axpert inverters. Best wishes and enjoy your choice and installation.

Thanks for nice video. I have a question. I even bought and my friend Phocos over 2 years ago, they work really well and have eye quality. The small problem we have is that when it is plugged into the socket it takes from the grid, but would like it to only take from the battery and the sun. But when the sun goes down, it takes from the grid and the battery. Have tried different in setup via app and manually. And would like it to only take from the sun and the battery and in winter it then has to charge the outlet and charge the battery. And of course, when you disconnect the outlet, it only pulls from the battery when there is no sun. Has anyone in here experienced the same thing? and possibly what is needed?. There are SBU, SUB, SBU and settings 11 and 16 if that's where you need to change But we've done different setups but it still pulls from the wall connector both inverters.

Ours did the same thing, I sent it back and phocos says that's normal and sent me a new one, it seems it always looks like it is pulling a small amount from the grid.

The inverter puts out 120 volts but does the ac input allow 220 to go into the unit from the grid?

This does not accept 220v but they do have 220 versions.
