capturing the stories and scenes of various characters in the City of Hereford.
This one took 10x longer than I planned but think it came together in the end. Feel free to share if you enjoyed any part of it. Thanks again to everyone who took part. 👍
Till Next Time,

Hereford is my birth place and the place where I lost my twin, it's where I swam, represented the city and county and surprisingly became an addict. Go figure that out in our small town after a promising start. But throughout it all I loved it and where it was. Eventually my dear twin brother Paul and I took to the nature once more and recovered. One of its best assets is its location. Here's to a positive future and all the best to those seeking a better way. Mark (Jickells)
Great place to live i lived there for about 5years back in 2001 loved the place plenty of work and nice welcoming people ❤
I was in Hereford, I work in strawberry farm s&a in Marden village, August 21-january 22, I'm really like this place, every Saturday or Sunday we come to Tesco in Hereford and another week go to Aldi in Leominster! Tank you for experience! 🇬🇧 Hello from Kazakhstan 🇰🇿.
This is so lovely, so positive!
Hereford, don't really have any words for it. A place my family has been for a long time, history I know little about. A place I naturally feel connect to yet at the same time worried for. A place which I might one day leave and never come back to.
It's change brings about opportunities yet I can't help but miss the past. The secret routes which entangle the town and hidden views few know about. The community who know all too much about one another yet will always be there for each over. The old buildings stand strong between a ever changing town.
If I was to describe home it is a place I both fear and love as I am afraid of its changes but I also admit the good they have done
I'm considering a move down there, but it's always difficult to get a real feel for a place unless you've actually lived there!
Go for it Michael. One of its best assets is its location. Peace.
@@WyeExplorer Thanks for that. Very encouraging.
Michael, Hereford has got everything a warm, intelligent, interested person of any age could want. Everything from art and culture to sport and leisure. From a vibrant nightlift, filled with people, to quiet, tranquil, remote, green places, where you can walk 400 yards in any direction, meet no-one and see no traffic. Iconic, famous landmarks and features, wonderful walks, both urban and rural. Theatre, cinema, restaurants and retail. More supermarkets than you can shake a stick at. Breathtaking rivers, woodland and wildlife. Excellent housing, employment and business opportunities and above all, the scope for anyone, no matter who they are, to come, live here, feel welcome and build a humdinger of a life for themselves... have a think about it.
@@michaelrawson6261 Thanks for the information.
Always wanted to visit the town of my ancestry.
That was very well done, I live in hereford and consider myself very lucky.
Makes me miss home! Nicely done mate
Great video! I came here from Manchester 16 years ago and feel blessed to live here and raise my children in Hereford
I do miss home, shout out to all the Newton farm crew 😁
I'm not sure how anyone can be excited about the future.
EASY, firstly, instead of sitting, stagnating, feeling sorry for yourself or looking for things to moan about and/or other people to blame, make yourself a future... then look forward to it... then DO IT!!!
@@michaelrawson6261 There are a lot of assumptions in that post. I was speaking in general terms, just look at what the WEF are doing.
Tidy
You have to love Emily, she is a lovely and great hairdresser. Hereford is the biggest village in the world, 99% of people look after each other, even our continental friends take a big part. I am proud to be a part of the community, my only gripe is the council. I tried to rent a unit for upcycling and recycling at Skylon park Rotherwas that was empty for 6 months. They refused and wanted manufacturing. Double standards... I still love Hereford. All my days will be spent here. This is home... OH, the bypass that never happened... Dont get me started on that.
No mention of The Regiment.
i live here, once you get over the herefordian accent, something i am cursed with, its a nice place to be
Accent we dont have an accent lol
@@silentfarmer6860 you sure about that?
@@silentfarmer6860 or as I should say, with a herefordian accent, are yer sher aboot that
Me and my wife moved back to Hereford after 14yrs abroad ,we had no intention of moving back to the UK for many years but elderly parent needs meant no choice,my wife prefers Hereford to where she used to live (Mansfield), we used to back every 3mnths over the years and I have to say that we noticed alot of changes some good some not so good, miss alot of the shops that we used to have ,don't quote me on this but there seems to be quite a few foreign shops plus men's barbers, alot of empty shops ,new buildings that look out of place and not in the best taste, but apart from those Hereford is still the best place to be.
Enjoyed your video.
@@michaeldavies9533 I moved away for 4 years, am due to go back any day now. I am going to be 'urban' rather than 'suburban' as the traffic is unbelievably horrendous! Not sure where everyone is going! Shops are pretty low on the ground now, house prices are a nightmare and the river floods further afield than ever. All that said, one of the few places (cities) you can feel safe walking through (daytime) and are more than likely to see someone you know!
Why is there a black guy? His ancestors came from Africa. Mine actually came from Herefordshire.
LMAO I swear the only thing I love about my home is how little the immigrants are... they're literally everywhere but hardly in Hereford
so you are basically admitting that you are inbred
