Sandi... Having those ewes in their retirement pasture is a form of therapy for you. Probably does more for you than sessions of meditation. I’m a doctor and I listen for certain cues in people that tell me what adds to their health and spirits. I can hear the level of peace and serenity and pleasure in your voice when you’re out there among those ewes. And as I read through the comments, I can tell that the retirement pasture choice has made a difference for many of your viewers, too. A lot of people are getting a sense of serenity and delight with the choice you made.
Interesting that you say that. I live a suburb life, property only big enough for some veggies and 3 dogs. I work a regular 8 to 5. But I tune in to this Vlog every chance I get. My husband, kids, and Mom are like why are you watching that. It brings me peace and a sense of serenity. I smile every time I see a lamb or those golden girls. I didn't know that sheep ARE SO LOUD!!! I giggle when I hear that first BAAAAAH! I smile every time I see Sandi smile. And I am over joyed every time Sandi overcomes a tough spot. I love seeing Sandi succeed, and I root for her when times seem rougher than usual. There is just something special about Sandi's Vlog. :)
I thought the same. Her voice changes and she slows down when she's with them. The same look people have when sitting with an old friend at the kitchen table just shooting the breeze.
I love how you kept the golden girls and their loving their new forever home. My heart melts when I get to see them!!🥰I love to see all the babies and momma’s but especially the retired ones and I’m happy that Belinda got to keep hers as well with yours😍 you have such a big heart.
Tomatoes is so glad to be with the other golden girls! Ruby, who otherwise seems content to follow Billy’s mom, is making sure the new addition knows her rank in the flock. She must be the enforcer, Billy’s mom’s second in command! 😁
When I saw the golden girls quietly following the corn bucket back the barn I had a great laugh. They are charming. If the gate is open we will explore.
Good to see the the Golden Girls adjusted enough for to go for a stroll around their new home. Tomatoes is so cute and she’s not gonna let Ruby push her around to much. You have created a retirement home for all the ewes you and Belinda get close to. Alabama loves your show
Animal escapes are every farmer anxiety source. I loved living rural, every neighbor watched out for others animals. I love the new addition to the Ladies of the Pasture. Great explanation of protein fluctuation in feen and the need for vigilance. Thank you for sharing your world, you bring such joy. May the joy be returned to you 10 times over.❤❤
So true. One day the cows got out of my neighbour. All the neighbour's went for it to help. Living in a farmers community was very nice and I still mis it. So now I am watching Sandies videos. It makes me happy. The shipping is part of the job. But I don't like it. And I am glad she doesn't pay that much attention to the really shipping. It always breaks my heart. So yes. I adore the videos of Sandie. The sound of the machines on the fields... it makes ne nostalgic.
That is so sweet of you to take Tomato's, but older ladies can be so catty! She'll be fine and she's adorable. Growing up on a farm, we always had a few "special" animals that we were attached to. God bless you and yours! Seeing those itty bitty lambs was a treat as well. They grow so fast!
The golden girls look amazing, it looks like they've started to enjoy their new retirement home and it's just way too cute how they're all following you. I'm sure Tomatoes will fit in just fine. It's awesome you took her in.
Yay Tomatoes/Belinda!!! Glad I will still be able to see her! Now she just needs to do her job! I see you are now caught up to date - that must feel awesome!!! Love all your videos!
So cute Tomatoes was able to be rescued to join the Golden Girls' flock. Are you sure they haven't learned how to open that gate themselves? It's so cute when they follow you!
Welcome to the family Tomatoes!!! She's adorable!!! I'm so glad the Golden Girls are figuring out their place. That was so cute they followed you right into the barn...lol Jess said she'd been trying for 30 minutes...I hope your groin and legs are feeling better!!! Stay blessed Sandi!!! Love you guys so much!!! ❤🤗🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Poor Jess with the retirement ladies then they just follow you in . Thanks for taking us along today!! You are appreciated

Sandi Brock -- the Pied Piper of Shepard Creek Farm. Instead of a flute, she plays a grain bucket and leads not rats, but sheep out to safety😋 Nice of you to take in Tomatoes. There's nothing wrong with having a few old friends around -- they've certainly earned their keep. If Mark gives you grief, I'm sure he's got a few pieces of farm equipment laying around that he can't seem to part with....
Oh my goodness!! This one was too funny! Everyone's escaping!! The lambs had a meeting, were like, she keeps taking our friends and they don't come back. We need to get out!! Then the golden girls were just out looking for Sandi! Tomatoes is a great addition to the flock. Ruby isn't having anyone take the attention though! Whew, that girl!! Lol. As for the lamb with it's booty stuck in the gate... I feel ya little one!! I got a booty too! And all of this with a hurt muscle! Sandi you're a trooper!
Looks like Ruby is establishing the pecking order. 🤣😂🤣😂. You are now little bow peep. You should dress up like her for Halloween and do a vlog leading your sheep behind you. 🤣😂🤣😂🇺🇸🇺🇸
This is awesome Sandi, you made me smile 😃. Little tomatoes will soon know her place, I just hope Ruby will gently nudge her there and not beat her up too much.
haha...never fails. When my sheep get out everyone else can spend half an hour in futile efforts...I show up and yell and they also dutifully follow along 😆
I love the grey hair coming in. I really do think it's beauitful, not being snarky, just so natural and beauitful. Reminds me of the rare black and brown sheep. I love to name them in my own head. Your videos always make my day!
Sandi, you deserve pet sheep. They can't be any more expensive than my elderly Labrador Retriever and Golden! Their special food is pricey at $145 for 22 pounds. Then there's the arthritis meds. at $1.64 A pill at 3 pills a day! We need our special pets!🐑🐑🐑🐑
depending on WHAT they are on for their arthritis, if you have good insurance, and YOUR copay is cheaper...maybe you can get your doctor to prescribe Their meds to YOU. (IF it is cheaper, that is.) BTW, psst you DIDNT get this idea from me. lolol
We are watching this literally , with the time difference, as you are planting the new cover crop. Good luck & hopefully your protein levels get better
Suggestion: Since hay is in short supply (pretty much everywhere), you could cut and bale the grass along the road ditches. It may not be super good quality, but it's better than nothing and it's free. Love your videos!!
Good Saturday morning everyone! Sandi, I’m trying to stretch everything back into proper place and harmony, too…it seems to take longer and longer to “put things right!” Growing old isn’t for wimps, my friend….💗🐑💗🐑💗
My go to for sore muscles is Arnicare Gel. Good for bruising too! Makes your body sick the blood back up so you have no old green and yellow bruising. Comes in a roll on or a tube. And it is available at any store that sells over the counter meds so not prescription.
Loving that Ruby won't have Tomatoes being petted and touched instead of her! The bond you have with your sheep is so clear in these older girls, that they were happy just to let you lead them back into the pasture.
I love it!!! He brings a hammer to adjust the whatever it is!! My father used to do the same, but he worked on cars that way!! However, my tools consist of 2 hammers, many screwdrivers (flathead and Phillips) if I can't fix it with those, I put in a work order and the maintenance man comes and fixes it!!
There's a method to that. By banging on the head of the bolt with a hammer, enough vibration is created to loosen any mud or rust that might be binding. Plus there's a certain amount of satisfaction/gratification when you get out the BFH.
Love the Golden Girls setup! Would it help if you added some grass to their hay so they would get used to it, then slowly lessen the amount of hay?? Just a thought!!
I know that you have abusiness to run, however to retire a few old ladies like you have just done is fantastic. We all know when you ship out market lambs, what basically happens to them, it's business. To keep four ladies proves that you are human after all. It shows that you have done something to do on the rare times you have a moment to yourself. Your rock girl
I would love a 24 hour web cam hooked up to just watch the golden girls on a live feed everyday that would be amazing! Thanks Sandi for adding Tomatoes to the group.💕
Your videos are so refreshing to watch. And so informative. The conversations recently about the economics of running the farm are incredibly interesting and give me a bigger picture of the world. I've pulled a muscle in that same area as you and know that pain. Hope it gets better soon.

Sandi - I love how you introduced Tomatos to the rest of the flock. That was so sweet. lol And now to have Tomatos (Belinda) teach the others how to eat grass. :)
You took the words right out of my mouth. I thought how sweet their following you. Their so sweet. And nothing so painful than a pulled groin muscle. I give you a lot of credit for continuing to work!!
Sandi, you sure have started something with your retired sheep, four turns into five and then ….. Did I see a bit of jealousy when you patted the new lamb? It was also good to see your dog once again running around like it always did. Keep well, it is hard work getting the sheep to do what you want to do sometimes.
Great video! Love seeing everything you are working on! Love seeing the Golden Girls! Love the new addition. It is just awesome all you and your husband are creating!
I spent several months in physio because of a muscle pull in the same place. It helped but still not completely healed yet. Take it easy your young so hopefully you get better faster.
The DeKalb “winged corn” on Jess’s shirt gave me a twinge of nostalgia. I lived in DeKalb, Ill. during my college years. Every student had a winged corn patch somewhere - jeans, jacket sleeves, ball caps, even a deluxe wall plaque. You couldn’t escape it. The Golden Girls + 1 are a riot. Ruby will adjust.
Sandi your smile is sunshine for our souls. You come to life when you are with your sheep they are lucky to have you as their shepherd. Watching your daily adventures make me smile.
Another great video thanks for being here we appreciate u so much thanks for helping me heal from dv over the last 11 months u have done me so proud I hope u realise how special u are sandy and how much ur videos help others.
I assume dv is for divorce? You will be ok! It’s not what you planned when you said “I do,” but sometimes it’s for the best. You’ve got this! (Been there myself) I’m currently healing from 5 major surgeries in 3 years. Sandi helps me too. ❤️ I also love another YT channel called Ocean Conservation Namibia. They put out a new video everyday. They rescue seals from ocean trash like fishing lines & nets. ❤️
Sandi had some little lambs whose fleece was white as snow and everywhere that Sandi went the lambs were sure to go. 😁😁❤️❤️🐑🐑
Love this
That was exactly what went through my mind!
Now sing it again changing "some little" lambs to "retired ewe" lambs and the last lamb to ewes!
Absolutely beautiful Wonderful Thanks Sandi!!!!!!!!!🥰😍🐑🐑🐏🐏🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑

The Golden Girls should earn their keep in YT royalties, their segments in this video are so adorable I’ve already watched 2x!!!
Everyone: Welcome sweet Tomatoes!!! 💜😂🎉
Mark: There are 5..? Not the business plan, Sandi, not the business plan
LOL 😂 love you guys!
🤣🤣 Good one! I could even hear Mark's voice as I read that. 😜

Golden Girls jailbreak!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Not enough excitement for them in that pasture!
At least this jailbreak was fixed in a shortime , normally its the boys and then we know what happens !
Nothing better than a cup of coffee and a new Sheepishly Me video on a Saturday morning!! 💜
Or at 2 p.m. I am a little late today.
Just after midday and I haven’t had beaky or coffee! The sheep come first! ❤️

If my memory serves me correctly…In Belinda’s video, after Tomatoes was born, she was cold and they put her in a tomato crate to warm her up.
@@jodiely7983 ahh. Didn't know that..makes sense now .👍
I like how early in the vlog you even said you needed to start closing the gates 🤣
I really do love the way they follow you all in a line. That is just the sweetest thing.
Just loved this one
Funny when the golden girls followed you,
Love you guys HERVEY BAY QUEENSLAND AUSTRALIA
Hello pretty how are you doing and how’s everyone over there?
Sandi - I love how you introduced Tomatos to the rest of the flock. That was so sweet. lol And now to have Tomatos (Belinda) teach the others how to eat grass. :)
Sandi you have a heart of gold 💛 with all the sheep but especially with the golden girls✨️
You took the words right out of my mouth. I thought how sweet their following you. Their so sweet. And nothing so painful than a pulled groin muscle. I give you a lot of credit for continuing to work!!
Hello beautiful how are you doing with your family?
You HV no idea what joy u give this old woman u r a inspiration to all! Thank you God Bless Patricia u r so right!
Sandi, you sure have started something with your retired sheep, four turns into five and then …..
Did I see a bit of jealousy when you patted the new lamb? It was also good to see your dog once again running around like it always did.
Keep well, it is hard work getting the sheep to do what you want to do sometimes.
Where is the lamb that screamed? That was so cute. I love watching the lambs run and jumping. When my bunnies do that it's called binkies.
Nothing like seeing binkies for a bunny person. 🥰
Perfect to unwind with after work...crawls n bed n enjoys me some sheepishly great moments 💖 💕
"Sheepishly great moments", I love that!
That was wonderful entertainment for my lunch time. Keep us smiling with your contagious positive look on life.
Great video! Love seeing everything you are working on! Love seeing the Golden Girls! Love the new addition. It is just awesome all you and your husband are creating!
So glad Kinsey is lively. She seems to have recovered from her illness or tantrum 😉😆.
I spent several months in physio because of a muscle pull in the same place. It helped but still not completely healed yet.
Take it easy your young so hopefully you get better faster.
Awesome 👏 What a beautiful friend you are. 💖👭
❣
Send good luck
I assume dv is for divorce? You will be ok! It’s not what you planned when you said “I do,” but sometimes it’s for the best. You’ve got this! (Been there myself) I’m currently healing from 5 major surgeries in 3 years. Sandi helps me too. ❤️
I also love another YT channel called Ocean Conservation Namibia. They put out a new video everyday. They rescue seals from ocean trash like fishing lines & nets. ❤️
