The way I look at it .. Adrian has a shit ton of money and those contestants deserved a big pay day for all the work they put into a house that his going to potentially give away.

You don't have to watch, I didn't like the bullying that was going on in houses 2 & 3 and the bias towards Leah by both Scotty and Shelley but I watched anyway because I enjoy the reveals and houses 1,4,5 all deserved big pay days. Kyle and Leslie didn't get as much as the others but the didn't walk away penniless
