If you are in Rajasthan, you must visit Jodhpur next... 1. Mirchivada from Choudhary Namkeen (There are 2 shops by the same name, please go to the one on B-road. It's a small rugged shop and not a fancy one with a mirror door. Also, there might be a queue). They also serve superb dal kachori and imarti to die for. 2. Samosa from Shahi Samosa or Arora Namkeen and Pyaaz Kachori from Surya Namkeen. PS-You'll not find any local asking for/eating these snacks with any kind of chutney. Some shops might offer a packed version of saunth chutney, but for a change try and eat it without the chutney... It hits different! 3. You can try a rice-based dish called Kabuli (Jodhpur's version of Veg-Biryani), Gulab Jamun ki sabzi (nope, its not sweet, but rich and creamy), Haldi ki sabzi, chakki ki sabzi, or kaju curry at Shandaar Sweets. It's a small, non-fancy sit-down place we locals love. Try their lassi or if you plan to come in winters, have their rabdi wala doodh served late in the evening... A cure for sore throats and heart breaks. 4. And then comes the array of sweets... From soft (non-spongy) Gulab Jamun, mawa kachoris, malai paan to Rabdi Ghevar, Dal badam ki chakki and walnut halwa... For Ghevar, you'll have to travel all the way to the city side to a shop called Vaishno sweets. A perfect bite of sweet crunchy base topped with a luxurious silky layered rabdi. In addition, you can also try their 'Tawa Poori' - it's a sweet dish that looks like a baked momo. 5. Another thing you can try is Mohanji ke rabdi ladoo. I know the world is full of amazing motichoor ladoos, but these are a rabdi-based dark brown boondi ke laddoo that is unparalleled in my humble opinion. You'll be super lucky if they are made fresh. If not, you can pack them for your way back home, pop them in the microwave for a good 30 seconds and they'll be as good as the fresh ones.
After a long time real Khane Main Kya Hai vlog has came. The shooting style, background music, glimpse of food preparation, explanation of food's taste-texture-ingredients, this is what I subscribed this channel for. In your recent videos all these things were missing, especially your restaurant tours, and I'm glad now you're back! 😊👌🏻 Hope to see more like this ❤

Lovely episode Kunal, loved the choices ... wish you had done the Kalajamuns near City Palace on the way up from Hathi Pol ... and echo your words on the ggs, best complete food of all time

@@nitinmestry7240 I think you are prematurely judging dude!! So is it possible that people don't know him much? Probably, it is a new start for Kunal and local people there to know each other so next time, people give better response! Don't forget even though Kunal did not receive that familiar gesture from local, there are thousands of his follower online. Isn't it enough for him to keep going?
