You're absolutely right !! I'm fed up with (mostly guys) who listen to her and say : "She doesn't sing live...".... Let me tell those "nuts" 4 things : 1) Watch her schedule :: She performs 3 days in a row...NEVER MORE... 1 or 2 days off...then 3 more shows and so on. It is true that , during her first residency in Las Vegas...It happened that (I was there once) she had to perform 4 days in a row...and then, she wasn't signing live the 4th night. It last for for the first year at the Colosseum.... Never again since then. 2) Have a look at her neck when she sings : Muscles and nerves are tensed...(Someone who lipsynch : neck is smooth as a baby's butt). 3) She sings many songs much more difficult ...technically than (your obsession!) song: My heart will go on !!!! Yes, there's about 15 seconds where it is "playback"....but not the whole song. (I won't tell who certified this to me..) but it is only for the purpose of a perfect timing between musicians and her....a very touchy "modulation" in the musician's partition and her range.... PERIOD. 4) None of you guys have ever attended a Celine Dion' s performance.... (You randomly get out of your basement ! And you make "comments" based on badly captioned (on cell phones!) videos on RUclips..... Bah ! I'm wasting my time : "Hey guys ! You can't catch an iota (hurry up ! Google "iota") of emotion when she sings.... Why don't you listen at "Britney, Kathy and many other "so-signers" who have to get on stage 90% naked or dressed like Xmas trees ,who must have 20 dancers (cabbage worms) to hide the lack of talent (Viva autotune!) and make bets on wich is singing live !! (The funny part : 50% of you will lose !! Lol)

Singing those notes with a voice like that can cause severe irreparable damage, i've known people who have done similar thing and get inoperable vocal nodes, it hurts them when they speak, let alone sing, and it is going to be like that for the rest of their lives, all their talent, and their DREAM going away for ONE time, celine knows how dangerous it is, that is why she said that, she could've lost everything

But when CELINE sang “All by myself” years ago when I saw her in Vegas, I wept like a baby. The tears weren’t of sadness but of pure AWE!!!!! Her voice is majestic!!!! It literally sends shivers down my spine when I listen to her. Actually, that high note on all by myself is pre-recorded. Trust me, Im a HUGE celine dion fan, she is my idol. But Throughout the 90s she lost her voice many times. Mostly due to the fact that she traveled a lot, and that strained her vocal chords (With the new pollution in the areas). And I've noticed that most of her World tour is lip-synced. But for performance quality reasons. I've listened to all her performances in most places, and mostly every song sounds the same. (continued)
Which you also have to take into account that this is the DVD release, which of course they are going to twerk the vocals a little, but for audience enjoyment. Most of the DVD ripped performances on RUclips are tweaked. Thats why you have to listen to the audience's recordings. Being a singer myself, no one can hit that note when your vocal chords are damaged. It can ruin your vocal chords. Im done XD I love Celine So much, she is so down to earth, and is an amazing woman.

Actually, that high note on all by myself is pre-recorded. Trust me, Im a HUGE celine dion fan, she is my idol. But Throughout the 90s she lost her voice many times. Mostly due to the fact that she traveled a lot, and that strained her vocal chords (With the new pollution in the areas). And I've noticed that most of her World tour is lip-synced. But for performance quality reasons. I've listened to all her performances in most places, and mostly every song sounds the same. (continued)

Which you also have to take into account that this is the DVD release, which of course they are going to twerk the vocals a little, but for audience enjoyment. Most of the DVD ripped performances on RUclips are tweaked. Thats why you have to listen to the audience's recordings. Being a singer myself, no one can hit that note when your vocal chords are damaged. It can ruin your vocal chords. Im done XD I love Celine So much, she is so down to earth, and is an amazing woman.

I agree but it's only because she has her Las vegas gig! She's singing 5 days a week every week all year for her shows and how long has she been doing that for now? I can't remember! About 6 years! I think she lips most things now to keep her voice! No singer has ever done a show as long as he has been doing it for so she is trying to save her voice to keep making albums! I can see why she does it! Other singers though do it because they can't sing at all but Celine has a reason!
