Do you have 6 minutes to watch a guy who has never played the new ball explain how great it is going to be, even though you will probably have to have a 10K machine to discern whether there is a microscopic difference between it and the Pro V's I have been playing the last 10 years? I was basically thrilled when the balata covers were replaced, and I could get through 9 holes without a smile or a bark mark on my ball. The tech has now come so far, that I doubt if one golfer in 1K can tell tell the diff between a Top Flite and a Titleist. I pay 50 bucks a box for the prestige. lol
Brother, a year ago I would be standing right there beside you on this. when I was 25+ HCI. I literally couldn't tell you the difference between a Noodle and a ProV1. Once I started striking the ball properly, I can now tell you the difference between, AVX, Pro V1,Pro V1X and left dash blindfolded. It is VERY WEIRD when that happens, but YES you can feel the difference. When the temperature drops below 45°F, I use a Pro V1 because the "X" is too hard in the cold temps for me. That being said, even if I COULDN'T tell the difference, I would still fly Pro-V1s, because I am insufferable Titelist homer
