Wow, that looks incredibly hard! Nothing to do with a Camino... Oh those views! I am sure the video doesn't really show what it feels like to be there in person. Must be totally worth it to wake up at 04:30, walk hours in the rain & mud on a rocky terrain... all that just for the views!
A great achievement Nadine. I'm just about to start the Norte...you are an inspiration. you're videography is very well done. Cheers
❤❤❤ Beautiful video Nadine. Thanks for taking us on the journey!
So awesome to see you doing this! Stunning Andean landscape! I did my Peace Corps service in Ecuador, so Peru is somewhat reminiscent of what I saw there (though my site was on the coast). I have wanted to go to Machu Picchu since I was a kid, so this is very exciting to see.
Well produced video. Looking forward to following the rest of your Peru trip.
Right off the bat... it is great to see you in your happy place via the glow in your face. The beauty up there is really stunning. I'm sure in real life that magnificence is amplified even more. Looking forward to more. Cheers and adventure on!
Your video experience from Spain shows well here. Thx for bringing us with you.
You fixed your sternum strap on your pack! What a cool way to spend your time off. Enjoy!
Haha actually it’s a new pack… (same as the old one! But wow, I needed to get used to not having to tie that sternum strap in a knot!) Good eye for detail 😊
Wow, unbelievably magnificent. Thanks so much for sharing.
Coool!! Buen camino Nadine. You sure can pick 'em.
This is my favorite of all your videos. Well done. There’s a real sense of adventure of doing something totally new in a place you’ve never been before.
My legs hurt just watching! Well done.
It’s wonderful to see you in this new place! You absolutely glow! Can’t wait to see the rest of this adventure! Thank you Nadine ❤
I had forgotten how beautiful Peru was. I hiked the classic 4 day route to MP as my first solo adventure and loved it but yours is even more stunning.
Breathtaking scenery! All the best.
Enjoy this beautiful trek! All worth it!!
Love your video. What views! Hope your next trek will be the W in Patagonia!
I agree! But the whole route not just the W!!
Oh wow Nadine, those views are incredible! What an amazing experience this must have been,
That looks espectacularmente amazing!!!
WOW! That's all, just wow (how did you get along without your morning coffee?)
Luckily there was coffee every morning! It was just instant, so maybe not the greatest, but it did the trick :)
Love your trip! May I ask what mic you use? The sound is always great on your videos!
I don't use a mic, just my phone! Thank you for the kind words about the sound, though I do think there are some areas that could use some work (and investing in a little mic to attach close to my body is something I'd like to test out in the future!)
Yo, Nadine. Well done. Curious about what elevation you are hiking. Any altitude issues? Rick
Hey Rick! Highest point on the trek (which was on this first day) was about 4600 meters, or 15,090 ft. I did pretty well! The altitude definitely made the hiking harder, but overall I didn't have any big trouble (thankfully!)
Hi Nadine! love the video ..how many days us this trek?
The trek was 5 days, though the 5th day was Machu Picchu and didn't involve any hiking.
It’s not Camino but it certainly looks interesting. I wonder……
It sure was a great trek... challenging but (aside from the landslides, which you'll see in future videos), I always felt safe, and well looked after by our guides/porters/chef. And the scenery was fabulous! And it was just incredible to learn so much about the culture and areas we were walking through.
Did you use trekking poles too?
❤❤❤
How many days ?
The trek was 5 days, though the 5th day was Machu Picchu and didn't involve actually hiking.
