There is a very smart thing Justing does all game that should be pointed out. Like ETCs guitar solo armor, every time Justing goes in and thinks he might get stunned by imperius, he uses Q on himself before going in to get 25 armor, making it harder to get blown up and wasting enemy cds. Also, he uses W in lane to heal his minions and damage enemy minions, making enemy team waste more time on clearing.
@@choonbox : Thanks! So far, I'm liking and feel more skilled with Valla, Li-Ming, Lt. Morales, Tassadar, Anduin, and Sylvanas. I find that I do terrible with tanks, bruisers, and melee assassins as I'm not confident about initiating at close range (and team fights with tanks). I'm not great with most healers but seem to do well keeping the team alive with Lt. Morales and Anduin. I feel right at home poking and sustaining with Valla, Li-Ming, Tassadar, and Sylvanas. I'm new to MOBAs, too, (coming from games like OW, FFXIV, and SOASE) so I'm also learning how to be proficient with game mechanics such as stutter stepping and quick casting. This game has been a pretty steep knowledge cliff for me so far. Lots of great RUclips content available for folks like me, and-with help from friends-I've been able to acclimate quickly. What has helped me was just going straight into ARAM (after doing tutorial and enough AI games). Between the two, I felt it more important to learn heroes first and maps second.
@@Ozasuke You seem to be a fantastic chap. Just in case you didn't read them somewhere else yet, here's a few general tips: CONTROLS - Customize your *Quickcast* settings per hero and/or globally. Quickcast has 3 settings: On - fires an ability as soon as the button is pressed (fastest) On Release - fires when the button is released, shows you a target marker Off - you have to confirm to fire (most reliable) I generally use On Release with a few Quickcast skills that I want to go off instantly. I find the targeting assist too useful to pass on. - [A] is your *attack move* button, your hero attacks anything in range and then moves. Useful for stutter as you don't run the risk of misclicking and walking into the enemy instead of shooting. - You can configure the keybind and also whether A-move targets the enemy closest to your hero or to your cursor. I recommend cursor. - *Always mount* [Z] if you don't have anything to shoot. Moving at 1.3x speed helps dodge, escape, chase and position. - Queue commands with [Shift]. So mount, shift+click a fountain, then shift+click somewhere else gives you the fastest way to tap. - You can use a healing fountain anytime, not only when you're low. The regen stays on you for the normal duration, so you can use it before a fight to have HP and mana regeneration in the fight. This is called a pre-tap. TRAINING - If you want to try hero-specific things, there are 3 practice areas: Try Mode, Sandbox and VersusAI. Try Mode is a bit hidden in Collections > Heroes > Select a hero > Click Try. Sandbox is similar but on a bigger map with better AI or without or with a friend. Go to Custom Game, select one of two Sandbox maps (Volskaya / Cursed), add AI or not. Gives you cheat options for resetting talents and such. VersusAI puts 5 players against bots, so it's virtually impossible to lose and there is almost no pressure. It's very different from the "real" game but allows you to try lots of funky stuff. - Play every hero. There is a free hero rotation and you can try any hero in Try Mode at any time. Even if you don't like them, knowing how they function is great when playing both with and against them. Many players don't even know what certain heroes do because they main one hero and never bother trying others. That's a big disadvantage. I have my favourite roster but I have played every hero at least once. STRATEGY - The goal is to kill the other core. Never forget that, even if other things seem flashier and shinier. Sometimes, you don't need to do the map objective. What's priority is something that comes with experience and it helps to team up with a shotcaller who can guide you. - If in doubt, follow the team's decision, even if it's stupid and loses the game. Losing together is often better than winning alone. It's uh... it's complicated. But not everyone knows how the game works. Harsh truth. - XP is important. Early on, one wave of soak is bigger than one hero kill. ARAM is about endless brawling, the moba game is not. - Tanks are hard to play because there are no tank statistics. DPS deals damage, healer heals. Tanks sit in bushes providing vision but hardly anyone understands that because it doesn't show on the end screen. I'm gonna shut the fuck up now because I could spam endless paragraphs. Those are my basics that seem to often get overlooked. Have fun getting your ass kicked by my pro moves, newbie! kekw

As to draft, the adaptation of Dstorm over Dshield is cool, since they don't draft a hyper carry style hero that needs Dshield to be enabled and it allows hanzo to go for the other ult and not rely on dragon arrow to engage due to medallion
But then you lose out on a real tank or a damage dealer. You want lucid in a mobil, Roaming composition with more damage dealers that can get in and out and chase thanks to Lucio.
I was curious since I saw a Silver "main tank" Uther dieing repeatedly. He said "don't you know? Is a common thing in competitive pro scene!", so I said "mhm".
My friends and i did a full healer comp in quick play last night for fun. I was uther and we had a lot of fun and almost won, but bad play at the end gave the enemy a big advantage. Looking to try out main tank uther

I focus on tanking or healing. When I go into SL and no one else has either showing. I say “Can anyone else tank or heal? I can’t do both, I’m not an Uther main.” I guess I’ll have to try to change that.
@@onkelpappkov2666 That’s already the case. God forbid you clear a wave or do something that isn’t a team fight. And likely that fight is over nothing.
CCL is HeroesHearthEsports' pro league that they introduced this year. Lot of ex-HGC players are in this draft and have Grubby, Bahamut, and Doa as commentators/hosts as well as gillyweed doing interviews. They stream on twitch on the weekends and it has been a breath of fresh air after HGC ended.
I am watching your videos for years. But in this video, i have to disagree. Uther needs, a rework,revamp.. i dont know...but it is unplayble. Long cool downs, poor aoe heal cant compare the other heales or any other of healers. Very poor character

It has been abandoned and is plagued by resulting problems but the game is still a good game. I am surprised there are still PC games in development, considering how much more money there is in the Chinese mobile games market. It's absurd. It's like several dozen times more lucrative. Can't blame Activision for... oh wait, you totally can because fuck Activision.

Lucio lacks offensive plays compared to ana. Ana ult is a damage ult, sleep and grenade also create kill pressure.
So much people watch your youtube stuff in silver SL in europe it seems to me more often. Hope to see some MT Uther (but good ones) soon.

What i hear and what i see in the video are two different things for some reason.
If the focus of this build is stuns, why doesn't he take Hammer of the Lightbringer as his level 1 talent?
because net mana gain on holy shock is more important than the E quest
And because they nerfed his health a lot that he can't just stand and smack people with aa.
There it goes, get ready to see silver & gold main tank uther in SL.

It’s still really popular. Not with the mainstream but has a strong hardcore following like it deserves. Get back in there!

Don’t play Uther main tank and don’t play double support. It’s not competitive except if your are the better team anyway.
I still pefer E it's funny big stun nice and simple
I had the highest hero damage with Lili one game.
LOL that is awesome
Battle Lili. Dragons for days. Need the Ninja skin though.
Yeah, I’ve had highest damage on some real strange heroes in QM. It’s exasperating when that happens.
Fanhots has a recent video where he goes battle lili. Unkillable damage machine. Very entertaining.
And you probably lost, just like the time I lead in hero damage with Diablo. That generally means your team is bad.
