      Barcelona played Messi a couple of times first with the Fax they never received when it was all over te place that Messi was going with Pep Guardiola to Manchester City he decided not to take Barcelona to court he would had won because it was the year of COVID and the season got extended so was all the clauses on the contracts. Then Laporta vote for me Messi if I become the president your contract is a sure thing, wait we got this. Any Barcelona fan that is upset at Messi for not allowing Barcelona to take him for a fool a THIRD TIME is simply WRONG. Barcelona has a thing where players not matter how well they did for the club if they are not from Spain they get out by the BACK DOOR way too many of them went that way INCLUDING MESSI THEIR BEST PLAYER EVER.

    People do not understand that MLS teams will take a financial hit for ratings. Where teams, and the league sponsors are paying to benefit one team to get this done.

      True. Many people can't see the big picture. Messi will be part owner, which means he will have a say on who they sign next. They will build a team around Messi, and he will be banging goals left and right, because all his teammates will be passing to him, unlike PSG. Plus, it's funny how both Busquets and Alba left Barca at the exact same moment.....Neymar has also been talking with Leo. That we know for sure.

    I'm sorry. The hype is supremely justified & I'll probably go to a game but we're not getting the Messi we all think about. What motivation does he have over here? He's completed football already. MLS is a subpar league. Goals from outside the box are the norm as well is the poor defense. As far as the contract & extras involved, the percentage from the MLS pass subscription wouldn't have done it for me because how many people actually purchase that? I would have taken 400mil a yr, done 3yrs in Saudi, & then came to the US. The draw would still be the same.

      Yes now. Let me school you. Messi this season led league 1 in: gl contributions, assists, dribbles, key chances created, passes completed, and most motm's in the league. We're talking the League, let alone PSG. Scored both title clinching goals in both years when nobody else on the team could score. Without his league leading 62 gl contributions, PSG would have finished 5th instead of 1st. Do your research kid.

He doesn't go on magical runs anymore. He's still skillful no doubt it's not barca messi anymore. France is an easy league especially when you're on a stacked team like psg you don't have to do much. CBS Sports needs to do a facts check. The greatest football player ever is Pele. At the age of 16 he delivered the World Cup for Brazil. He did that feat 2 more times. It would have been 3 more times if it was not for the corrupt FIFA referees who allowed defenders to foul Pele so bad that he needed to be hospitalized.
    Pele was declared a national treasure and could only play in the USA after he retired from soccer. Messi is a great player but he is not better than Pele.

      Uh, yes he is. The only thing Pele has over Messi is the number of World Cup titles (and Pele didn’t win them by himself). Don’t get me wrong; Pele is a legend, may he Rest In Peace. But Messi, I’m afraid, is on a whole other realm.
      Messi is far and away the most individually decorated player in the history of the game.

    • @RINODWIKIY

      Yeah Pele is GOAT but in Brazil. Not in The World

    • @joro7304
      @joro7304 Год назад +4

      Pele did win 3 world cups, but he was sidelined with injury in the second one, and if it wasn't for Garrincha, Brazil wouldn't have won that title. Pele's third world cup also came with a Brazil team that was filled with superstars. Only the first WC that Pele won, could be credited solely to him. Diego Maradona won just 1 WC, but his impact in the 1986 tournament and in soccer in general was even bigger than Pele's. Messi is also like Maradona, one WC but the impact is monumental.

    • @christosnikitakis6675
      @christosnikitakis6675 Год назад +1

      That's your opinion dude. Messi has already SMASHED all of Pele's scoring records and gl contributions records. All of them. Thus, the title: GOAT. Lionel Andres Messi.
