    Dang Vince! What an awesome catch. My son and I love watching your videos and wish we can fish with you one day. Let me know if you are down. 🙏🏽🔥💯

      Your videos has definitely brought my son Bilal and I much closer and have helped create a father and son bond with something we both love to do. Unfortunately we tend to skunk on the river and was hoping we can fish with you one day this season so we can catch and release some big ones! Thank you and God bless

    Great video , hoping to land a big one on the jerk this season too, quick question, do you cast up river or down river and jerk back ?

    Nice catches 👍 I lost one about the size of that biggie a couple weeks ago right at the bank. Was pretty salty about it but that’s part of the game! Do you have any budget baitcaster recommendations? Looking for a rod and reel for jerkbaits and don’t know much about baitcasters

    • @vinc8ntl8r
      @vinc8ntl8r  2 года назад +1

      Any reel that can hold the line u want to use. I recommend the black max for Baitcaster but for spinning the Sedona shimano is good. (Check description) and for rod any med or med heavy will do.

      @Ricardo Romero
      What test pound your line and leader ?
      You were using a lure ?
      Back in the 1960’s and ‘70’s most my friends and I only used 15-25 lb mono.
      A 40 pounder if lip or mouth hooked would take at least 20 minutes or even more .
      But if bait was swallowed sometimes they wouldnt fight but 5-10 minutes .
      Fish are kind of like humans in the sense some fight like hell and others dont .
