🔆 Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 12 Verses 15:
यस्मान्नोद्विजते लोको लोकान्नोद्विजते च य: |
हर्षामर्षभयोद्वेगैर्मुक्तो य: स च मे प्रिय: ||15||
yasmān nodvijate loko lokān nodvijate cha yaḥ
harṣhāmarṣha-bhayodvegair mukto yaḥ sa cha me priyaḥ ||15||
🔴 Who causes fear to none and whom none can frighten, who is thus free from agitation of the moods caused by euphoria, anger, and excitement - such a person too is dear to Me.

Namaskaram. So happy to listen to you swamiji
Please someone tell the technical team to start a video setup as we enjoy seeing swamiji talk too! please consider!🙏
Agree with you
I am for audio only; I fear video might be distracting.
Swamiji 🙏
I thank the Lord that I get to hear these fragrant nourishing words. May I put them into practice.
We are surrounded by trouble.
Are we?
Cognize no suffering.
And there is no suffering to overcome!
Insightful and enjoyable. Are we "really" medium-sized? That is the veil, the belief in "scale"! Transcend size, and you are Gan, The Tower.
It will take years to listen to the whole Gita at this pace... but good to listen when they drop by. Want to hear also the Brihadarankaya Upanishad if that is possible or at least the chapters in desire, etc (3,4,5). Thank You Vedanta New York.
This way the roots grow deep.
I figure it’s a 5-year course.
This course is not for listening to the Gita. It's for STUDYING the Gita. With 1 or 2 verses expounded each week, you can memorise each verse in Sanskrit while waiting for the next one, and replay the discourse to deepen your understanding and catch subtleties you missed the first time.
Thank you so much for for the enlightening speech.. chapter 12 is my favourite chapter! 🪴🙏
thank you Swami ji for your love and wisdom :)

I don't believe I am writing this here. Whatever Swamiji Maharaj said in this lecture, it felt like all of it was meant for me. Going through clinical depression at one point of time, mind going up and down like a sinusodial curve and i following it..... But good I am here... I heard the lecture till the end and will listen to the next lecture as well. Just shared this text if it is of some help to anyone

Is there any plan for when this course will be completed? I’ve listened to all of the videos from the start and it seems like the class started in 2018 maybe. Just curious. Thank you!
You talked about how our habits are a result of tamas and greed anxiety anger lust fear and temptation are due from rajas energies.
The question is what is the difference between habits and anger/anxiety in terms of what drives us to erroneous actions? Because habits are unconscious tendencies but isn’t anger and fear or worry also unconscious habitual tendencies? But how can habits be driven by lethargy whereas someone being worried or fearful due to peer pressure and out of bad habits get hooked on drugs??
"Panic attack" is an old psychiatric term; not a new one.
