- This Part of my life feels terrifying. The reason for this is that I have actually decided to make Manila Philippines my home. And NO, I am not just saying that for the views and engagements. This is for real. The last time I felt this way I packed a suitcase and moved to Honolulu Hawaii for 2,5 years. That time it was because of education. This time it's for love, family, and business. The reason it feels terrifying to move abroad is because I have experience in settling down in a foreign culture. It requires a tremendous amount of courage and persistence. You need to allow for many frustrations, changes, and acknowledgments. From learning the language to settling into the systems. This video marks the beginning of that journey and I am ready to give it everything I have. You think I can do it?

Thank you so much for this comment. I will highlight every step of the way. The reason I know it’s terrifying is because I’ve done this before. I moved to Honolulu when I was just 21 years old. I lived there for 2 1/2 years in the process of settling into a new culture and country can take a toll on people. I want to be a voice that explains everything that someone might go through if you have any questions or things you want me to answer feel free to leave him here in the comments 🤘🏼

Cavite is kinda far from our work, that’s why we didn’t move in to that house. Second, were saving for the 2nd floor renovation. Third, we got a lease condo that’s why were more on our condo. i hope I answer your question. 😃! Have a great day.

Living in the poor country like Phils will test ur endurance, patience, creativity, survival kit, limitation the Phil way. If u passed the challenge u can now live anywhere around the world. Phils is good for vacation, business investment (hotel/airbnb export/importt) and stop-over.
Norway is still the best to raise a family in terms of benefits with free education, child subsidy, health care system , clean environment, modern transportation system, high paying job although taxes are high and expensive but it's worth the benefits. (As per my relatives living n Bergen Norway as nurse).

I am originally from England and have lived here now for 25 years, also 4 years in Australia and 15 years in Hong Kong. Philippines is my home, I married Jane, a Filipina, in 1999. Once Filipinos realize you are not a tourist or a short stayer and know that this is your home they will love and respect you more. BTW not sure about the blond hair.

Wow, that's a tough decision you made! Don't worry too much about the language. If you live in Manila, almost everyone speaks English. It's in the rural provinces that a lot of people do not speak English at all. I have been following you two since your trip to Rio de Janeiro but I watched Ave even before that when she used to travel alone. Ave, I love your new hair style. But Martin's hair is too "gold" I think. I prefer the original. Take care always and be safe.
