    For what it's worth: I was able to get total control of my air flow simply by attaching a simple dimmer switch to control the hair dryer. Any brand no matter how powerful. It doesn't matter. I also attached a flexible hose and just hold the end of the hose. You can put the hair dryer off to the side without holding it at all and just use the flexible hose. Much, much easier! I use one in each hand and move the ink in ways just one hand cannot do. I was able to explore areas of creativity I previously could not.

    Yes.....i ran out an bought a new 1000w hairdryer, then regretted it coz the ink wasn't doing what it should do😂😂. Thanks for the tough love! Thank you for a super useful video. Now I will try again....and, yes, I'll try to be patient 😅. But...I really want to create a masterpiece now😂😅

I started alcohol ink a month ago despite never doing art before and just came across your channel yesterday (video 30, lines and ripples) and this is now the 6th video of yours that I have watched and I have learnt so much - you are the best RUclipsr out there for beginners! What works for me very well is to use flexible ducting or hose attached to the dryer. I just mount the dryer somewhere off or under the table and just guide the hose wherever you want it. Weighs next to nothing. You don't have to listen to all that noise. The hose flips out of the way the moment you let it go and you can control "too powerful" dryers very easily.

    • @randihart5731
      @randihart5731  2 года назад

      So it works like an airbrush almost… ?

    • @195516Z
      @195516Z 2 года назад +1

      @@randihart5731 That's a good way to look at it. You can pinch off the end for a narrow stream of air or as wide as the dryer (about an inch or so ). You can have one in each hand at the same time and really move the ink in ways you couldn't do with just one hand.

      Hej Lene 😊 du skal bestemt prøve, man bliver helt afhængig af alkohol ink.
      Der er selvfølgelig nogle som er natur talenter fra start (det var jeg ikke), men de fleste synes at det ser nemt ud…. Og når man så prøver er det slet ikke så let som man tror hihi. Men det er sjovt 👍😃 vil meget gerne høre hvad du synes om det når du får prøvet.

    I just found your video and subscribed. I’m not sure if you are still doing them, however, I did want to tell you that this video helped me a great deal with the problem I was having… I was definitely holding my hairdryer incorrectly. So thank you for tough love, as you called it.😀

      Thank you 😊 sorry for the late reply, I’ve been sick for a very long time.
      Ink is always tricky in the summer, ink and high humidity does not go well together. I never use ink on really hot days
