- I started studying this Ballade 10 months ago!!! Yep a long time!!! It was so challenging but if I keep practicing my family will kick me out of the house! I feel I could still improve.. but this is probably the best I can do today...
10 months practice for 11 minutes song... insane!!
I have a challenging job managing my business and with 2 kids in our family I am only able to practice about 1 or 2 hours per day sometimes more.
But I set my goals and step by step, day after day I got this piece done!
Thanks to my teacher, Amarylli Fridegotto, that is helping me improve my piano playing.. best teacher ever... if you live in Miami area and want to improve your piano or have your kids learn piano she is the one!
Remember it's never too late to learn piano..
Headphones recommended..

Amazing performance am proud of my dad❤
I got goosebumps back to back after listening to the slow theme twice. Very inspirational
😊
When the second theme comes in for the first time, I feel like most people play it so fast, I think the tempo you chose was really nice. It makes it feel more sweet and precious
Thank you!
Wonderful! Slower than I am used to hearing it, but it sounds very natural and intentional. You should be tremendously proud.
Thanks!
Wow - wonderful playing .. so much feeling I Train it since 5 years.. without success:(
Thank you and don’t give up!!
Im 17 yrs old. I dream that one day, maybe when I turn 60, I could play this piece just as good as you did!
If you study with a good teacher you can get to this much earlier!! Thanks for listening and for your nice comment.
WOW just WOW
Thanks for listening
Brilliant!! This is a very impressive feat. Bravo sir and thank you for sharing your magic to the world. This should have millions of views
Thanks!!
AMAZING
Thank you! This one took a long time..
Bravo!!👏👏👏
Grazie!
Truly amazing. I love how each note was properly given time to shine and though some may believe that it should be played faster, it is much more heartfelt at your tempo. Chopin believed in individuality for fingers and notes as opposed to fingering speed and it is truly displayed here. Bravo
Thank you for listening and your nice feedback. I always try to carefully express each note when possible, which I believe it helps transmitting emotions, rather than using only speed to impress.. Chopin is the best!
Wow. Bravo!
Thanks for listening
Chapeau!
Merci!
Yeeee bravo!!!
Grazie bro!
Incredible performance ❤

Absolutely amazing performance!❤️
Thanks to you too. You started all this about 40 years ago… ;)
And you had the talent! Bravo!@@nicolasterzani4188
Nice! I liked it! Congratulations!
Soon, Ill be learning this piece, too. For now, Im working on Dream of Olwen and First Arabesque. That Chopin's masterpiece is next in line. Good wishes to you and to all the piano players in the world!
Thanks good luck with it!
Bravo! Playing a masterpiece like that not being a proffesional pianist ...You're amazing!
Wow thanks!
너무듣기좋다👍👍
Thanks!
You make it look easy. I know its not. Wonderfully done!
Thank you! 😊
you look like a mix of jurgen klopp and ricardo kaka. Amazing playing by the way lol
😊
Semplicemente straordinario.
Bravo! Well interpreted! One tiny thing, I hear my teacher saying: dont lift the hands from the keys if the music isnt finished (at the end). Also, in a situation where your hands do not have to do anything, you shouldnt not take the hands from the keys, instead better think about how to choreograph to express where the music is at this moment (for example a slow move to the next keys suits some situations). Best regards from Germany, Giacomo
Ciao Giacomo thank you for listening and taking the time to send me your feedback.. yes I agree also my teacher tells me the same.. I have to work in that..
constructive criticism here, love how you played and trained it! Although in some parts you play too slow, which I personally enjoy because you can tell the amount of passion and rubato you put into it, but that still doesn't allow the piece to progress in a more natural and more climatic way when needed! Perfect nonetheless, your steinway has a beautiful sound too.
Thank you for your honest feedback. I like to hear these constructive criticism since it’s essential to become a better pianist.
This is a very challenging piece; its one of the hardest IMO. When anyone learns how to play it, its impressive, honestly. The only feedback I would give would be to increase the tempo slightly. Id also say to let if fly and dont be as reserved with the emotional expressiveness thats conveyed through the sounds...ie communicate and express the strong emotions through the dynamics of your playing. You started to let loose a little at this part: 9:55 and let let me music take over. Lastly, the richness of the sound that comes for your people is incredible!
Thanks for listening and taking the time to give me your feedback, that’s super nice if you. Yes I agree I need to be more fluid.. I own a Kawai GS30 that has a softer action and I am able to play more naturally.. this steinway has amazing sound and velocity control but it’s a bit heavier, hence I need to achieve a better technical level to master it.. I am planning to play and record again in few years.. hopefully by then I can play it better.
dude amazing cover. I can really see work pays off. I also appreciate that you play it slower to adapt to your level
Thanks! I think that a lot of Chopin’s music is beautiful played not too fast.. you can appreciate more the sound and harmony..
Agreed!
im 15 and have learned about 3 minutes of this piece but i dont know how to read sheet music do you know any tips to help with learning the ballade?
Hi! So you play by ear? It’s a very complicated piece to learn by ear, I would get a teacher if that’s a possibility. Otherwise you can use apps like MuseScore. It will play as slow as you want showing you the notes and that could help you a lot.. let me know how it goes.. also start studying the coda asap.. very very slow
Im young and still looking for a field to work in, what field does your business work in?
Lighting design. www.terzani.com
Amazing playing!. How long have you been playing the piano?. What methods of practice did you used to study the difficult sections of this Ballade?
Hi, thanks for listening! I played piano when I was a kid till teenage but never seriously… till I started again 7 years ago and then started taking lessons 2 years ago. My teacher, Amarylli Fridegotto has been huge help to get me where I am today. She teaches a technique that she got from different teachers from Italy and Russia. I started studying the coda first and then going backward.. lots of hours of practice and lot of patience…
@@nicolasterzani4188 It is a very difficult piece indeed. Did you practice the difficult sections using slow practice or rhythms?
@@manuelcr9305 both.. lol
Any pain on shoulders?, Play on Stainway this must be great pleasure🎉
It’s a pain on wallet… 😝 but great pleasure yes!
@@nicolasterzani4188 enjoy it:), my piano back ground more or less like you, but I don't have a Stwy:))
how much that piano cost ya?
If I’m not wrong that’s a Steinway and Sons B-211 and it costs $115,800 USD.
Too much… but we only live once.. 😜
Yes it’s a B but with Spirio R
please, continue practicing it. There are serious mistakes with holding notes while playing at the begging, and not playing it staccato. Your hand needs to be relaxed more and your fingers are breaking too much. Your left hand have really easy part playing octaves so when you play it, you need to relax your hand ans let it fall on next notes.
Sorry but what you need is not to spend months learning a very difficult piece but instead learn the basics of piano playing.
Why? I found his performance decent
your comment here is quite disheartening, instead of giving constructive criticism you chose to take the shortcut and say that he apparently needs "to learn the basics." He clearly has a reliable foundation, and the performance was pretty dang acceptable. Yes there is room for improvement, but you blew the entire situation up. At least respect the fact he put in nearly a year of work to play a piece he wants - if you cant give anything constructive, dont comment anything.
