Mizu, flowing light | Music composed and performed by Nicolas Terzani | Design Nicolas Terzani
I composed this music as a soundtrack for a video about one of my designs, Mizu. Since childhood, I’ve loved improvising and composing music. I still remember my first piano composition, “La Sorgente” (Water Spring), which I performed at a recital when I was around 10 years old. Water has clearly been a recurring theme in my creative journey, inspiring both the design of Mizu and this new composition. Enjoy!
Inspired by the tranquil and mesmerizing light refractions created by water, Mizu is a customizable pendant light from Terzani. Like water droplets, no two Mizu are alike, each crystal shape is unique and made meticulously by hand. Using only the clearest crystal, Mizu perfectly emulat...

    This is really good, I'm playing this piece too and can give you some advices, in the beggining when the "waltz" starts, hold the melody with your fingers (pinky and don't play staccato!). From 3:00 try to not stop on the accents, you have to play with intention, but not stop the phrase holding the tempo. From 7:15 try to not accentuate C when you play with your right hand pinky. Dude, you're doing a REALLY great job. Keep doing it.

      Thanks, for the beginning I have another comment that suggest to play more staccato lol. I see what you mean.. I should hold the note even if the pedal is on.. At 3.00 I see what you mean, will try. 7.15 I needed more practice yes.. you are right needs to be smoother. Thanks for taking the time to give me tip, I appreciate it.

    Too much rubato and slowdown in places for my personal tastes, but nonetheless it's obvious you have put a lot of effort into this. please, continue practicing it. There are serious mistakes with holding notes while playing at the begging, and not playing it staccato. Your hand needs to be relaxed more and your fingers are breaking too much. Your left hand have really easy part playing octaves so when you play it, you need to relax your hand ans let it fall on next notes.

    • @nicolasterzani4188
      @nicolasterzani4188 2 дня назад

      Thanks for your feedback. Regarding the staccato, you are right it’s indicated staccato but it’s also indicated to use the pedal to hold.. maybe you are using a different edition than mine. I heard different interpretations some with staccato some with holding pedal.. will do more research. My technique needs to improve and since I recorded this I was able to improve my left hand. I will try to record this again in the future to compare.. will be fun.
