- My next project in organizing my shop is this simple Japanese handsaw storage rack to go on my French cleat wall. Of course I had to use one of my most favorite woods which is walnut. Totally unnecessary, yes, but looks so nice!

Beautiful!
Thank you and thanks for watching!
This is beautiful, and soothing to watch. No such thing as adversity when you continue to do what you love no matter what.
Thank you and thanks for watching!
Great build! Love how used the saws you are storing to make the storage!!👍🏻💪🏼
Ya, I figured it was a good project to practice on. Still need lots more 😊 Thanks for watching!👍
Beautiful John! I liked seeing you use the handsaws to make it, that was a nice touch
Thanks Grant! Ya, it was a great little project to get some practice on👍
Nice work mate, the finished project looks fantastic! Thanks for sharing 👍
Thanks! Ya, nice simple project 😊
Nice build and video...loved the music. Handy storage solution and I'm with you on walnut...love it. Especially the smell
Thank you! Ya, I have more walnut in my shop then any other type of wood!😊
Love it! You are doing some great projects lately!
Ya, you better watch out or I'm going to catch up to the great Dutch Shed Woodshop!😉 Just kidding, Thank you, I've really been having fun lately!
Love my Japanese Saws too, nice vid
Thanks! Ya, you really can't go wrong with these Japanese saws. Thanks for watching!
beautiful build for the best saws in the world. Japanese, of course! 😀
Thanks! Ya, so far I really like them. They're less expensive then western saws and still easy to use. And maybe in small part I like things Japanese. My mom used to live there as a kid and I've been there once myself. I really love their traditional woodworking! Thanks again for watching!
The Japanese make the best a lot of things! Some of my favourite guitars are from the 90's and Japanese made 😊
Good work, simple design with a nice curved front.
Thank you and thanks for watching!
Neat project 👍
Thank you!
I'm no where near as good as you with the saws, but I really like using the Japanese pull saws. Your design for the holder is great: simple, elegant, functional. New sub!
Thank you very much!
Look like those t track clamps are still working good! Great looking project bud!
Ya man, they are! Had to shine them up once already and probably due again soon. Thanks again for making them 👍
@@LTDWoodworks you can always hit them with a coat of clear to try to slow down the patina process or just embrace it like I do 😂
Good idea👍 Just want to keep your work nice and shiny for the world to see😉
Beautiful and simple yet very effective. The best kind of build. What were the approximate dimensions of your rack?
I like your simple design! I just got 3 Japanese saws and looking for how to mount them on my tool wall. I think Il do something similar to yours!
Go for it as it works great 👍 Thanks for watching 👍
👌👌👌
Thanks for watching 👍
Never tried a Japanese saw, but it looks like we're in the minority on that one. Are we the only ones without one?!
Well I’m only some what new to them myself. I do like them so far. They cut very nice and they’re inexpensive! Give them a try👍
@@LTDWoodworks We just might! :)
What did you bathe the wood in please, also I personally would have the teeth pointing to the wall as them Japanese saws are razor sharp,
I also suffer with benign essential tremor and I just know I would end up cutting myself with the teeth facing out 🤣
I make lots of cutting boards and charcuterie boards so I have that bin full of a couple of gallons of food grade mineral oil. Not sure why I had them facing out for those shots. My thumbnail pic has them facing in which is definitely the plan👍 And yes, these tremors make woodworking challenging but I still have fun! Thanks for watching!
What’s that oil you dipped it in mate
Food grade mineral oil I keep around for cutting boards.
