I’d love to see you jump straight into season 2!! The first few episodes are some of the best (IMO)- they provide so much more depth to certain characters as well as shifting the tone of the series entirely. It’s beyond amazing, and I cannot wait to see you experience it!!
Idk if anyone has told you this but in between season 2 and 3 there is a movie called ‘Dead apple’ ( there is also an ova which is referenced in one of the episodes in season 3 so I would recommend that too)

It’s always hilarious seeing new people react to this anime and be reminded oh right there’s the incest couple and the pedo vibes of the port mafia boss. As a Bungo fan you kind of learn to forget those parts and focus on the rest of the story. I would definitely love to see you react to season 2 immediately. True the last two episodes feel anti-climatic bc they introduce you to the beginning of the next arc so it comes of abrupt. This was so cool! Mori is a huge creep, the siblings are weird to say the LEAST, and every ability in this show is either really cool or kinda bland. Siblings are based on a book in which a couple tries to hide their relationship by acting like siblings. As you know every character in Bungou stray dogs are a nod to an author or a book. Same with Mori. Spoiler.. You probably know it. Elise is Mori's ability. She isn't a real person. Still a creep but it's a reference to Vita sexualis book. I think people easily accept Dazai being suicidal maniac which is a nod to real Dazai but make a big deal out of siblings thing and Mori when it's the same thing.

This was so cool! Mori is a huge creep, the siblings are weird to say the LEAST, and every ability in this show is either really cool or kinda bland. Oh, in the manga the siblings are apparently supposed to be a reference to modernism? Or a statement on modernism? I'm not sure, and I don't want to look it up for fear of what I might find.

Siblings are based on a book in which a couple tries to hide their relationship by acting like siblings. As you know every character in Bungou stray dogs are a nod to an author or a book. Same with Mori. Spoiler.. You probably know it.
Elise is Mori's ability. She isn't a real person. Still a creep but it's a reference to Vita sexualis book. I think people easily accept Dazai being suicidal maniac which is a nod to real Dazai but make a big deal out of siblings thing and Mori when it's the same thing.

I mean creepy as he acts I'll allow a smidgen of leniency in that she isn't even a real person but a manifestation of his ability (plus her relationship with him comes directly from the book of which she's based called "The Dancing Girl" with his obsession mirroring that of the stories protag for Elise)

I actually love mori as a villain he’s got so much intrigue as to what exactly his backstory is and hes just overall well written
