Ron it’s a great idea with the live preserver ring and I’m so pleased you caught the koi angel in time great video and new fish look like the Montague and Capuletts 👍👍👍
Thanks, Mal! It was a bit scary. I really thought that was it for that poor fish. And I guess on this side of the Pond, it'd be the Hatfields and the McCoys. 🙂
Hello from my fish room channel in Chicago, where I'm happy to support yours :) Do keep an eye on those pretty Serape Tetras as they as known to be fin nippers. I'd only worry about that regarding the angelfish. Hopefully, it's a moot point. Good luck, friend!
Hi Steffan! And I appreciate your continued support. Thank you for the word on the Serape Tetras. Turns out it is a "moo point" (Joey Tribbiani from Friends 🙂) This was the second time I bought fish from a local Petco. It'll be the last time. All 10 of the Serapes died within the first couple days and down to the last Black Skirt Tetra as I write this. Regardless - good to know. They are a neat looking little fish, and had they survived would have mmade a neat addition. The Black Skirts as well. I may try again but from a different source. We're very limited on sources here in Palm Desert. I've bought loads of fish from a local PetSmart and never had those kinds of problems. Anyway, thanks my friend for chiming in. Cheers! ~Ron
@@LushSaltyAquariums It really does suck. hate losing fish. It's a huge failure on my part for not setting up a quarantine tank. I just hope ta hell it doesn't /didn't spread. Live and learn! Cheers, Steffan!
@@garageaquatics2023 For the record I don't do quarantine tank either. If existing fish still fine then whatever it was related to the transfer of environment - water chemistry variance, etc...
@@LushSaltyAquariums Frankly, I think I brought them in diseased. Within a day or so, the ones that were still alive were showing signs if Ich. I must be more careful!
