DId u know that the ride u did is actually the offical bob sleigh track for the Olympics of the 1952 olympics in Norway. AND that is in the rural ereals of Oslo, only about 30 mins on a trem from city central.
@heretotravel the "funny thing" is that Oslo is known to be a summer city since its loads of restaurants you can eat outside or have a drink. People in Norway are in general very happy during summer since that's our favorite day of the year. ;)
Gosh … similar to tobogganing … I’m looking forward in December. Wonder if there is a steep slope downstream at the sides just in case we go off the track …
No, nothing too daunting. The track was mostly enclosed by fences. Controlling the direction and speed sledges was quite easy, so you should be able to avoid any accidents.
Hiya. We were there in early January. No age limit as far as we can remember. The run isn’t supervised, so you can just hire a kids sledge and take the plunge.

Beautiful!

Well, sounds like a return visit is in order then. 😊
@@heretotravel think you will like it. The Oslo area is a pretty warm place during summer, 25-35 degrees Celsius. :)

What month did you visit guys? And do you know if there is an age limit? Would love to take my youngest down with me!
