- A personal favourite trick of mine from Tenyo (although this version I perform is from MB). The brilliant mechanical mechanism is incredible. Here is a performance only and a brief view of the workings of a great close up prop trick. Enjoy!

I have the Tenyo Crystal Cleaver and it is equally clever ,it is so easy to do and it always amazes everybody .keep up the good work!
Great production - mist & all - your narration is so convincing with this odd mood
Beautifully performed!!
Best patter I've seen with this effect
Thanks a lot 😊
Now that is a clever bit of engineering
It’s a mechanical wonder!
Really ingenious! Thanks for sharing!
Love the mechanics on this ,really clever 👍
Love Tenyo. I bought m'y first real Magic trick from then at Disney world. It was "telesphere", a take on cups and balls that je absolutely fantastic
Why is it when you performed it you don’t hear the coin drop in the bottom of the box and then when you showed us how it’s done it’s obvious that you could hear the coin drop in the bottom of the box.
£8 it was a bargain. Got to agree with you on the old Tenyo stuff very ingenious and inventive. 👍😊👍
Totally agree
Cool design
yep cool clasic close up stage illusion ideas concepts principles
i bought this many many years ago the base was yellow and the clear cover was pyramid shaped never did like the click when the coin dropped into the box so had a layer of cotton wool on the bottom of the box to deaden the sound but my favourite was the crystal cleaver remember that one? keep up the good work you really are the best thank you
By the sounds of your description you had the original Tenyo version, mine is the licenced copy by MB Milton Bradley Toys who released this a few years after Tenyo. Crystal Cleaver was a great trick too.
Beautiful 👌🏼
Thank you! Cheers!
Tenyo still makes illusions with mechanisms that do the illusions for you. Look at Dr. Danger. My problem with the more recent Tenyo illusions is that they don't come with instructions printed in English anymore.
Super Cool!!! 👍👍👍
Very cool! Thanks for sharing. I agree wood would be great.
Yes, I think a lot of the clever Tenyo stuff would be great made from wood. I've just started to make a copy of the Mystery China Box, will post avideo once made.
@@totallymagic Awesome!!! I look forward to it.
A bird disappeared and appeared in a large drinking glass from a cage.It was done in the 1920's to 1940's.Maybe older.Wood tray made like this.Abbott's Hole in One sounds similar.
Good video
Yep they don't make this like that anymore. Great Demonstration and reveal.😊👍😊👍😊👍
Thanks Robert. Yep sadly Tenyo seem to have gone off the boil recently, lets hope they return to the great mechanical props!
@@totallymagic 👍😊
With a live presentation how do you cover the noise of the coin hitting the box. To me that just spoils EVERYTHING.
Incredibly clever!
What about the sound of the falling coin? Is that a problem during performance?
I mention the noise before it happens by saying, if you listen carefully you can hear the spirits at work. Also a small piece of soft rubber in the box base makes it quieter too.
how do you cover up the coin drop sound in life performance?
I usually incorporate the clink sound in the patter by saying if you listen closely you'll hear th spirits returning the coin to the vault! Or something along those lines. I used to try and hide the sound by having a small reception bell on the table which I used to ring at given moment but I now prefer to just mention the clink.
COOL! Good ol' Tenyo! Would be really cool in wood.
"MEOW!" to L&L!
cool. where can I buy this?
Sadly no longer produced but does crop up on eBay every now and then.
I used to have this and so many other Tenyo items. Why did I have to get rid of them...sigh.
Me too, I owned many of the range but sold them for next to nothing years ago!!!! Gutted!

I only have one, which was my mom's favorite. Missing masterpiece was the name. It still fools her to this day.
Did ancient Egypt ever manufacture glass?
بینهایت زیبابود. تبریک عرض میکنم.

When will u do the giveaway??.
Ain’t nobody mention a giveaway mate?
Its a similar mechanism to dice thru mirror.
Is it really, I've never managed to get hold of that one, I'll keep a look out.
Plz!, note Tenyo
That looks so good👍🏻 Shame it’s so expensive to buy 🤯🫣
