I had been dancing only about 2 years when this vid was made. Then there's this, 9 years later: Miss Moonshine Buckdances Fastest Bluegrass Fiddle Tune Ever - Chomp and Stomp ‘22 - Yellow Dandies ruclips.net/video/49-B6whDHhM/видео.html
She’s a Complete Doll… Go Girl You’re Awesome… Love the Bluegrass and I Love the Girl… (Lady)

She is adorable and I love the way she makes it look so effortless!

I wouldn't go so far as to say "adorable. "
@@acedecade8222 not very nice
@@acedecade8222 definitely she is Rogerable 😉
@@acedecade8222 You know, she can read all these comments. We need to be kind to people.
So cute in that dress. ❤️
Lancashire Clog Dancing.
Each dance is named after weaving factory, as each loom had it's own rythem that the workers of that factory use to dance to, hence the name JIG ( part of the loom that separated the threads ) the REEL ( the part of the loom that held the threads) and the SHUTTLE.
So you would have names for these dances like the Rochdale Jig, that workers would dance and tap out the rythem of replicating the sound of that loom.
These jigs and reels were obviously carried out to America by Lancashire and Yorkshire settlers.
WHOA! TMI!
Fantastic history lesson right there! Well, I never knew that...
Wow, I found this comment more interesting than the actual video. I would have never thought that kind of origin.
Thank you very much for the history lesson. Now I know!
@@sinnombre4357 take a good look into "entertainment from the 19th century" in Texas, Kentucky, Tennessee, the Virginias all over rural America- dancing shoes that cost the price of a whole Sunday outfit, fiddles more valuable than horses, horns that came from the collier bands of England's coal country. Cultural variations on a theme of sharing and joy, hard work and hard play. These are, today, all Americans, as are the slack jawed tourists from the big wide spots , down the road- "bubabnites, city dwellers, whose entertainment is piped in from NYC or ...Hollywood! You, madam, are making the world a better place.
+Ricko s “making the world a better place”? No she is not. Her part is a better place. I am watching her from California and well, California is still. . . . . .well, California. My small part of California SEEMS better while I watch her though. Thank You Miss Moonshine. 😀

Whenever I watch a video like this the simple joys of a group of friends getting together and performing a music and dance number performed in the mid West for over 140 years I always think the same thing..thank God they invented television.
Beautifully talented all of them ,I love it!

05AUG2021 - A couple of points from a 7th generation from the mountains of East Tennessee. This is where tap dancing started and it was was brought to us by the Irish. And I wish I had the courage and confidence this young lady has, just face the everyday trials of life.
Theres something about that smile that just melts your heart, simply adorable .
She’s too cute
This is far out.... Beautiful....
I remember when I used to live in Aintree, Florida.... We use to have a simple fun just like this... At the time population was around 300 or so... The lady has talent...
Ten thumbs up to those folks, that was enjoyable.
Thoroughly enjoyed that, thank you. I am filled with admiration for people who can do that, clog dance or can electro shuffle.
Less war and more clogging
True my friend 👍👍
I'd vote for you for President on that ticket.
Yeah, let the communist take over without us putting up a fight
Once Loretta gets a couple of snorts of Clyde's white lighting in her anything can happen.
Less dress and more clogging
She is crazy cute
Love her! Makes me want to hop up and dance!!
It is impossible not to smile when you watch this!
Now this will put a smile on your face.!!!

She's not young but she's nice, fit and shapely. That must be all that energy she's burning and what legs!
thanks, definitely upper middle age now and still dancing! check out my channel.
As Fraser and DeBolt sang about Fred Astaire, “The music moves, and you just take it lightly.” Wow! She’s like a marionette dancing, but there are no strings.
I love it. Everyone seems to enjoy themselves whether they're dancing or playing in the band.
This clogger is all over RUclips...amazing and so smooth!
Miss Moonshine is wonderful. Brings joy to those who watch her videos. Not much information online about her - yes, no Wikipedia. Doesn’t matter, she is a joy. I especially like the video where she takes a swig of recipe before buckdancing.
She says a couple of times that it was tea.
Yep she’s a keeper!😘
Absolutely love it! Wonderful dance!
Very creative and individual. I see you really feel the music!
Anyone who has mastered anything makes it look effortless. Names such as Roger Federer, Tiger Woods and Tom Brady come to mind. She is right up there with them.
i don’t deserve that. but thank you for kind wishes
Great music and dancing!
Awesome video. Love watching her perform ! Would love to see her in person. Reminds me of when I was a kid, my daddy would buck dance!
Love LOVE My Heritage !❤
You do not see this much any longer. Was a true blessing to watch her. Thank You once again!
Glad you enjoyed it. Its a mixed heritage of scotts/irish/american indian and especially african american influence
Who needs a drum kit ,when you got legs like this keeping the beat.
FANTASTIC
Thanks to Miss Moonshine for keeping this traditional form of dance alive. Without people like her parts of southern culture and history would be lost forever. Its no longer common to see Buckdancing performed and she provides an opportunity for the young generation to see what it was like way back when. Miss Moonshine is an excellent dancer and if she isn't a pro, she should be.
Wow, very flattering! make me verklempt !
Yes, love this! Great dancing and music, very reminiscent of the clog dancing of Lancashire , England. Keep going, more power to your heels!
