I used to watch Transformers Prime on here. The channel was so unique and recognizable.
It wasn't supposed to be this way, not like this. Oh God, not like this. The pain...the sadness that dwells deep in our heart each time we remember the good old days of the Hub will never be the same. Why won't you go away memories! What has brought me to the hub was Transformers Prime in 2010
I loved the hub...
One day
I changed the channel the hub...
It was still there...
The next day...
Before I changed the channel to the hub....
Before I pressed OK on it....
I noticed the logo was different....
So I pressed OK on it
It made me sad the network has changed...
It was fun while it lasted.... :,)

Whatever happened to these shows on the Hub like "Tiny Toon Adventures", that is still my favorite shows that it was on. I missed it terribly so much, but I would love to see it moving over to Boomerang in the future along with the 90's WB animated shows like "Animaniacs", "Batman: The Animated Series" and others, they should belong to CN's Boomerang. I remember seeing "Family Game Night" with Todd Newton of "Whammy!", but I want to see it move over to GSN, because "Family Game Night" was a good game show along with the "Game of Life", both of these game shows are Hasbro. Here's a good idea, if GSN picks up these two Hasbro based game shows, we need to bring back the classic "Scrabble" with Chuck Woolery (1984-90 & 1993), that's another Hasbro based game show from the 80's. In addition, Hasbro owns the library of classic 80's cartoons like "GI Joe", "Transformers", "Jem" and "My Little Pony & Friends", those are the classics we grew up with, and I wish they will end up somewhere. I hope I really want to see more Hasbro shows in the future on not just the former Hub or no Discovery Family, it will be on another channel.

The shows i loved watching on the hub was mlp, pound puppies, lps and g.i. joe renegades. Now that the hub is gone, it's not fun as it used to be. :(

Robots in Disguise, the new upcoming Transformers cartoon, was going to air on the Hub in 2015. But now it will air on Cartoon Network. I just hope they air Prime before the new show premieres.
I used to remember watching Strawberry Shortcake's Berry Bitty Adventures on the Hub/Hub Network from February 1, 2012 - September 30, 2014, Until 13 days later, It Becomes Discovery Family, Coindence, I've continued watching re-runs starting on October 26, 2014.

While everyone is ranting on about how they missed the Hub, I'm all like
"All the did was changed the name, like what, was Hub Network a better name than Discovery Family?"
I don’t think it was just a name change, but change in how the network is run. I still fondly remember watching the Hub (later Hub Network), and I can guarantee you that Discovery Family is nothing like its former predecessor. One aired cartoons 24/7, and new shows. And the other (Discovery Family) only aired reruns or live action shows from its sister channels.

And with the end of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, the last remnant of The Hub is now gone. While it was an unsuccessful channel, it at least has that show as its crowning achievement.
Maurice Isaac Actually it wasn’t as unsuccessful as it appears. Around that time, television was on the decline-that’s true. But ratings were consistent for the Hub. On Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon, they were relatively low and the Hub managed to either match them or beat them. Transformers Prime would receive over 200,000 views per episode, which is impressive. Dan Vs., arguably one of the greatest shows to air on The Hub (never cared for My Little Pony) received numerous awards and nominations, even going as far as gaining a cult following. The Haunting Hour also had decent exposure, considering the actors were rising at the time or from other networks, and even has acclaim for its quality.
Another show, Aquabats! Super Show! follows a similar trend, good ratings for a new kids network, critical acclaim reviews and a cult following. The Hub could have been a staple channel if only Hasbro allowed it a few more years to grow. Now all we can do is sit and reminisce of a once great channel.
I was reading some articles online about why the Hub failed. It had to do with advertisements. They lacked commercials, especially from rivals like Mattel. But in the same article, the analyst goes as far to admit that would eventually turn around. They, the businesses that would eventually pay them for ads, would cave in once the Hub picked up traction. And it was getting there.
Who knows, though. Since Hasbro has recently acquired Entertainment One and Saban’s Power Rangers, they now have enough content and toys to promote either a new network or a streaming app. If Hasbro stopped trying with media in general, then yeah. I wouldn’t even consider that a resurgence would be inevitable. But in the past 5 years, they’ve created more shows, bought an animated studio, and have green lighted more projects.
So let’s hope and wait to see what Hasbro does next.

As long as they have Mlp Transformers Goosebumps The Haunting Hour and they still air movies and Family Game Night I am not so upset about this because I checked the TV guide at my grandmas and they are still airing those shows. Besides some of the new shows they are airing on Discovery Family look pretty interesting and cool like Africa Meerkat Manor and How Its Made. Still though RIP Hub Network
