One of the neatest things about Wengen is that as you ski down from the slopes above, you enter town from the backstreets and you basically ski through the alleys to reach the main cablecar lift back up the mountain. It gives you a nice tour through town in skis.

I grew up in spiez (04:15) and i am actually impressed this place gets almost no love in videos like that. i think it's just too overshadowed by interlaken, brienz, grindelwald, wengen or of course lauterbrunnen which are all less than 20 mins away from spiez and pretty popular amongs tourists
There are so many, difficult to choose.. villages in the Appenzell region are also beautiful and often looked over, just as a hint. Anyway your video is very well made, diverse and inspiring. Thanks.

Switzerland is so beautiful.😍😍😍We also visited Switzerland during Spring. ❤️We did a video of our visit as well. We stayed in the story book like city of Lucerne. The city is really amazing we can drink from any public fountain. We also went on a bus tour to Interlaken and Grindelwald to have the best view of the Swiss Alps. Its really very nice. Everything is so clean and laid back. Feels like we are in a movie scene. Every angle looks like a postcard. 😍😍😍
Yes you can drink from any water fountain in Switzerland for free. Alone in Zurich, there are more than 2000 fountains of all sizes to drink from. I couldn't believe it myself when I heard that high number but it's a fact. We are indeed lucky in this country but it's also hard work to keep it up.
I would quite literally give an arm and maybe even a leg to live and work in Switzerland. If it weren’t for the prospect of moving there someday I’d have ended myself long ago.

Good job of picking these lesser known beautiful spots. I've been to eight of them and they are idyllic. Just don't want too many people to hear about them resulting in them becoming crowded with tourists and losing their charm. ;)
It’s really tough - I think the introduction of Instagram really pushed a few countries an specific locations out there an since then it’s hordes of people so it’s really hard to show that there are other cool areas to see
if you want to visit Switzerland far from mass tourism, then you have to visit Valais or Wallis, in German. It is a region less famous than central Switzerland, but it does not lack assets, however, with villages such as Grimentz, Evolene or Sion! 🇨🇭🍎🙂
As a Swiss person I do not consider the fuzz about the Rhine fall, otherwise great list. Some other places I can recommend: Ägerital, Murten, Scuol, Gstaad (high class, but a down to earth way), Thun and Neuchatel (not "pretty, but quite special).
Been there multiple times, while I am sure there are many more impressive waterfalls around the globe, it still always leaves me in awe. The power of water is incredible.
