    Brings back memory's of the cables we installed on log loaders , same type, one of the cable controls we ended up with what is referred to a turn lock cable= the handle would 1/4 turn when put in selected gear and then locked ! (Warn early 8 ton winch used lighter version cable for a brake lock cable also) ! Good system for use even on your linkage setup ! I realize you have just this one cable , but something to keep eye open for in junk yards and 2 nd hand stores ! so far looks good ! P.S. killing larva in water for mosquito, just add some powder lemonade mix, I also use non stick cooking spray, fine mist, on larger water areas !

      sorry. this was just a one time deal to help a friend out. it had alot of bugs to be worked out and he sold the truck before i could finish it

    Good idea I might try this GM could be the best trucks if it wasn’t for all this stupid electrical stuff

      i hate the electric shift. but this didnt come out perfect because it was a rush job and he wanted to get rid of it. with a little more time in this it would have been great

    Use a China wrench for bracket just keep heating an beating it to the degree needed to shift
