This was TV at it's best.
CBS you made a big mistake letting this go along with the biggest stars at the time.

My brother and I were children when this graphic would come on after the local news in San Francisco. Our mom, who was separated from our dad, wanted us to go night-night, because of school on weekdays and church on Sundays. She was struggling to raise us on her own, because our dad got chased away by his mother.

All I know is that it's from the 82-83 season; I can tell by the font used for the film's title.

The CBS Late Movie replaced The Merv Griffin Show in 1972.

Tatum O'neal looks Norwegian even though she's Irish-American!

I take it this was on the same tape as the KFSM sign off that’s on your channel.

1983 is too late for this intro music.1978 seems to be the last year
    That theme was used.

@m m CBS used Morton Stevens' "So Old, So Young" theme throughout its run of the CBS Late Movie from 1972 to 1984. Now, CBS did change its prime time movie theme right around 1978 to a theme written by Smith and Burke, simply titled "CBS". That was one theme which CBS did not use for its late night package.
