Thank you for the update much appreciated - Further issues - the government would be able to collect millions in property sales tax if the terrible needless delays in permission to purchase application were dealt with in a timely manner - delays, that no one can address it seems - people just have to wait with no updates on progress and no clue when permission to purchase will arrive or not - if the process was followed up and expidited people would get their permission to purchase in a reasonable time and then be able to register their properties/title deed and pay the tax due - some people have waited 15 years just for permission to purchase their home - long after they have bought their homes and have been part of the community and have contributed daily to the local economy.
Thanks for all your videos I definitely made the right choice in buying elsewhere and not in TRNC the rule change so regularly it’s so unsettling for over seas buyers but I will still visit for holidays but only once a year now

Thx for the update, feel sorry for recent buyers. But early buyers(1-2 years ago) are still in big profit even if they cut their prices down like %30 percent. If they did not pay more than required ofc. Multiple listings same property huge price differences it’s so easy to get overcharged here

As a noncitizen who recently bought a property in Cyprus, I'm happy they are making laws to protect the locals there. I like North Cyprus because it was quiet and cozy and loved the people there, I don't want to deal with a place rundown with only foreigners. I think the island should be protected, south Cyprus unfortunately it's too late there, I really didn't like it. I lived there when I was a child and when I went to visit I had to leave, it was not the nice place I remembered. Also I don't think the problem is just Russian and Iranians.

What the Turkish part of Cyprus should do is to demolish the buffer zone & make an agrement with the Greek side, to make a^walled off^ Tourist city where those Turks & Greeks which want to live side by side can have shops restaurants etc. & then the rest of Cyprus should be tourist free. Then small areas with foreign housing & real estate. so you dont ruin the life of the residents. with different prices on real estate & food. It would benefit all including a massive increase in the economy on both sides....What your government has done seen with my eyes isnt good enough it should be much much stricter......

Can one register a property in someone else’s name? No more possibiltis of a trut? What happens with properties bought before the law was passed?

Yes if you Turkish Cypriot with TRNC kimlik card holder you can have unlimited properties on your name
