Wow, great job through that arena! I'm sure you wouldn't have been thrilled at having to attempt that multiple times, especially without the half-heart refills from the chests in there. Every coin that was thrown out to you ended up mattering! Yeah at this point I wouldn't be surprised if there was maybe close to 500 or more bits of money that just was lost from the fact that there's nothing to buy, which does seem a little awkward.
Ontologically, with the murals, I wonder if the fox is doing a bad thing and getting the master key unseals great evil. I was on the edge of my seat in this episode. What a big finish!
If you're referring to the underground switches, Brian didn't forget. The switch in the SW room had already been triggered in the previous episode, and Brian explained why he can't just boomerang the one in the NW room, since he can't get to the only place to stand.
yea - he's killed off mushrooms across water in a previous underground. It could be the stump contains a hidden path to a hidden path next to the chest 😆 Or the three-switch chest has a hookshot "grab ground" upgrade or something. Definitely mushrooms to try tho
@@sethtriggs As noted, it's a stump rather than a post. I'll confirm stumps are hookshottable, but you'd need to be really careful to not burn it up with the boomerang while removing the mushrooms. I guess this is all more about forgetting about the hookshot rather than the boomerang (and I wasn't thinking about that particular interaction in my reply), but stumps are rarely hookshot targets which can make it more difficult to make the connection. Anyways, want to try and avoid spoilers (especially given the chest in the same room that doesn't have an obvious route to it) so I'll refrain from saying more. We'll have to see how Brian approaches this on his eventual return.

Sounds typical of an adventure story where you start in media res.
"No context, must quest. Oh no the quest is actually bad!"
You forgot about the boomerang after just using it! And you already had known the solution before.

@@TFMurphy I wonder if using the boomerang on the mushrooms that block the hookshottable wood posts would help him get there?

12:49 Maybe you dig right on that screen? I didn’t see you try there.
