Fast becoming my favorite channel. Love your type of skepticism: open minded, steel-manning the arguments, listening to experts BUT without being deferential to them, for you have a healthy skepticism of professed expertise. Most of all, I love how you respect every myth, even if you conclude that it is a fake or a hoax you never ridicule the people involved nor the people who still believe. That is exceedingly rare, so PLEASE never lose it.

Do not disbelieve a paranormal story just because you think such things are ridiculous or wishful thinking. When my wife passed away unexpectedly-I was devastated.I have seen her spirit twice now.First time was shortly after her passing and the second time was on the one year anniversary of her passing.I know what I saw,I am not a self delusional type of person.I do not drink nor take drugs. She was there both times and she wanted me to see her. Both times made me the happiest I had been since before she passed away.I hope to be reunited with her when my time comes.I no longer fear death,I look forward to my times with her once again.

No one thinks you're delusional but coincidently it was shortly after she passed and on Ur anniversary both times when u were said and probs hoping to see her. Your brain will see what u want to see sometimes. What if you remarry how weird will it be for u to want to see Ur old wife and not Ur new one. And are you going to be old and she's going to be young if u were to resee see her. If u think she's in some place then maybe when u get there she's reincarnated. Sorry but I don't mean to upset but Ur emotions got the best of u.

@@Maizy1985 I had quite a scary experience once. I was thinking about the nature of my existence compared to the existence of things in nature and the pathway in my mind started moving at a rapid speed - kind of like the tunnel in Being John Malkovich, but four years before that movie came out. As I hit a wall and was about to break through into something, which I was sure was my own death, all these voices in some kind of spiritual universe that followed me around started debating and talking and eventually said "ok you're in" or some kind of assent. The next thing was quite a blissful state, free of ego, and where you can clearly understand everything you see, its true nature, and your true nature. The two are interlinked. Those voices were things that I believe exist in a parallel universe that is always around us. I guess they may be gatekeepers of things. I feel like I could be one of them if I died, or would like to be one.

My husband and I were so enamored by this story that we’re reading it together. I read the modern parts, and he reads the Lukas/Thomas ones, archaic accent included. It makes me laugh, and I am having so much fun. I’ve never read a book with my husband. And this tale, whether it be true or not, is engaging and frankly, absolutely addicting. Gotta say, love the Tachyon Universe part. For anyone who might not be aware, Tachyons are hypothetical faster-than-light speed particles, that is, we have never observed one but they are not off the table of possibilities. The existence of particles that travel faster than light opens the door to inconsistencies in causality and so many people consider them, understandably, to be pure fantasy. Perhaps a device that somehow transmits Tachyons could send a signal to someone in the past AKA the Tachyon Antitelephone (idea originated with Einstein of course and term coined by Gregory Benford et al). Tachyons emerge in physics by simply considering the mass of an object to have an imaginary component (this is done all the time in other things; electromagnetic fields, quantum fields, etc - expressions like x + i*y where x represents the "real" and y the "imaginary" because its multiplied by root -1, i). Unfortunately, whoever is in the past ought to have a Tachyon detector to be able to observe a signal from the future, so I don't know how one would reliably communicate from the year 2109 to 1500 something. But anyway, i thought this was a cool hidden physics easter egg that maybe this comment could point out.

On the subject of weird. Years ago when me and my husband had just moved into our house ( in the 80’s ) something VERY strange happened. Our house was brand new so not old. We were both in the kitchen preparing dinner. Our kitchen was unusual that we only had 1 cabinet on the wall. It was also very small.
Whilst we were stood talking a very small ball the size of the rubber bouncy balls you can get from machines fell from out of nowhere. It bounced so hard that it nearly hit the ceiling. It then dropped like a lead weight to the floor. I picked it up and noticed straight away that it was very old rubber. A dark reddish brown. It was perished like very old rubber. After looking at it my husband bounced it. It wouldn’t even bounce at all. It looked very old. To this day we always talk about it. There was nowhere in the kitchen it could have come from. Not even up on the kitchen wall cupboard. I frequently dusted up there. We never stored anything up there. There was a deep trim around the top. It was like the ball materialized out of thin air. If we hadn’t seen it ourselves we would never had believed it.

Something like that happened to me as well. When I was 5 or 6 years old, I was playing with marbles and rolled one at my bedroom door, and it disappeared. It could have gone anywhere in the house. The strange part was when in 2012-2013 I was in my house in Florida, and a marble just appeared in the laundry room. No one in the house had any, nor did friends have any either. I no longer have this marble.

I remember in the dream looking at me with wonder how was I so much older than himself. It was as if time had stopped for him, and in the dream, I asked him what he was doing here? He looked at me and said I don't know, I don't know? It was as if it was still 2006. not 2018. I heard about this story in the past, I have to admit you clarify it much better. Imagine people had , interacted in this manner before yet felt it to be, a prank fell, to follow up.
Once, I left my PC / desktop wallpaper planet Sutren's picture ( I don't remember exactly how I asked, typing or vocal )
That I wanted to communicate with anyone living out on space meaning alian
I was doing laundry, so I went to bring my clothes from Loundry room which is located on 1st floor, at time I was living on 10th floor. The TV was off when I left. Returning to my unit and opened the door to my surprise TV was on and, making sounds that I have never heard, not only that my PC also was making similar sounds as if both were connected to something out of this world. I freaked out turned both off. I didn't know how to deal with it. No one other than me was in my unit.
    Never mention it to anyone.

Such a fascinating story and if history has shown us anything it’s that anything is possible. Perhaps the turmoil in the world right now is just another chapter we need to experience as it’s moving us closer to a new understanding. A rainbow usually appears once the heavy storm has ended. We’re not quite there yet but we’re getting there “despite how bad it all seems.”

I have had many paranormal experiences, all of which are perfectly normal to me, it's people's own perceptions that are incorrect. There's nothing supernatural, it's absolutely natural. Our own goodness is insufficient to save us! But God Himself has reached down, with undeserved mercy, to save us through His Son, Jesus, who took our sin upon Himself and paid the price on our behalf on the cross. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in, trusts in, and depends on Him, will not perish but have eternal life. - John 3.16.
