Man dies after tree falls on house near University of Akron campus

Summit County Medical Examiner Gary Guenther confirms a 33-year-old man is dead after a tree fell on a house Wednesday morning in Akron.
According to officials, the Akron Fire Department received the report of a fallen tree just after 10:45 a.m., when storms had made their way through the area. It had landed on a home located on the 400 block of Sumner Street, right by the University of Akron's campus.
The victim's body was found on the top floor of the residence, right underneath the tree. He has not yet been identified.
