  • The official 1993 IMSA Camel GTP & Lights and Exxon Supreme GTS, GTO, & GTU Year-In-Review, as done by IMSA and ESPN and hosted by Bob Varsha.
This was the final year for the GTP prototype class that evolved from the FIA Group C class, an era that went back, officially, to 1982. This also was the final year for the Camel Lights class, ending an era that went back to 1985. IMSA would switch to the World Sports Car (or WSC, for short) the following year
    Enjoy!

Anyone else notice that this was the last season of GTP and the first season of the new GTP was 30 years later?

Bought a 93 Cutlass Supreme new, we drove that thing for decades, one of the best cars ever produced, first my wife for many years, than me for a back and forth work car and whatever, than my oldest daughter college for 6 years, than my youngest daughter wrecked it, had almost 600,000 miles on it was still running good, always used synthetics.
