I just bought this toolbox today from my local Lowe’s. Ran me 45 bucks! Overall, it is a pretty crappy toolbox with no outstanding features other than the lid has a built-in ruler. Don’t know what on gods green earth someone would use that to measure for, but, I bought this box to hold my precision tools, and other supplies that I use for working on laptops and desktop computers. There is no way to lock this box with a padlock or combination lock from the outside. Don’t put your most valuable tools in this and leave it abandoned on the worksite or at the shop overnight unless you want to risk theft. The tray insert does not have many sections for organization, nor does it go from one into the box to the other. However, it is perfect for the small precision tools, spray air, cleaners that I used to break down and rebuild tablets, laptops, desktop towers, and other electronics. The big selling point for me was that it was wide enough to fit my rolled up anti-static mod mat inside.

This tool box does have locations to keep it secure. On the sides of each latch towards the bottom there are holes where you can use padlocks on. I suggest a padlock lock for each side, or I think you might be able to use those long shackle padlocks to run the shackle through both holes of each latch. i think what would keep it super secure, but I myself have never tried it. I only have used regular padlocks on it.

Well if you are repairing computers, you shouldn't have any concerns with measuring things - I mean, if I call someone to repair my laptop and someone shows up with a tape measure, hammer, and a level, I am going to have some concerns.
