If Czechia ever gets the chance to host a World Cup or Euro tournament, they could possibly fit all the games into the Velky Strahovsky Stadion. And the great thing about that place is that you can just wander in and take a look around, as you savour the post-communistical atmosphere.
Was excited to see if the speedway stadium (Markéta Stadium) would make it, but sadly it didn't. Well, I enjoy these videos anyway. Good work and keep 'em coming!
I was in Prague at the end of April, and I visited the Strahov and Sparta Stadium as well. I was in a business trip, but at the end I went to the stadiums. At Spart I bought a 3D puzzle stadium, because I collect those :)
This whole format is a fantastic cultural study. Thank you for this look into Prague's communal places. I'm glad you don't shy away from historical and political issues surrounding the stadiums. It really widens the perspective.
Semi-related, but I played in a Gaelic football tournament in Prague a few years ago, and there was a pitch side bar to keep us hydrated. The fields weren’t super big, but the amenities made up for it!
A Polish man who grew up in the Eastern Block and came to Canada as a young man told me that at least in communist Poland everybody knew it was propaganda whereas we in the West don't know or admit that our information is also propaganda. My favourite stadiums are the epet ARENA and the Fortuna Arena those are pretty decent! Also really like FK Viktoria Stadion and Dolicek because of the city views behind the stands. Feels like they are part of the neighbourhood.
@The LIM Report MLS will never stop expanding. If they stop expanding, they stop the $300M+ inflow of cash per year. It’s their lifeline. We will have 50+ teams eventually.
missed oportunity by the "Sportovni hala Fortuna" - the old Ice hockey arena...it one interesting construction feature... if look at the roof, you would think that the ice field is placed parallel to the roof...but it isn't. The ice field is actualy placed transversely to the roof...so the center axis of roof and the ice field are making a cross... 😉
Two slight corrections, only Sparta uses the O2 arena currently as Slavia is playing in the lower tier of the hockey leagues, so theyre using their old stadium right next to Eden, also and this is just more me being butthurt, Slavia isnt the biggest football club in Prague, everybody knows its sparta who won 37 league titles compared to Slavias 21
Dublin - Átha Cliath: Pairc an Crocaigh Donnybrook Stadium Morton Stadium Whitehall Stadium Tallaght Stadium UCD Bowl National Boxing Arena National basketball Stadium Dalymount Park Parnell Park Tolka Park RDS Stradbrook National Hockey Stadium Aviva Stadium Shelbourne Stadium Irishtown Stadium Dublin Port Stadium Ollie Campbell Park Richmond Park John Hyland Park Think Iv covered pretty much all there but a video on this would be great 🙈
@@archstanton6102 I have no relation to West Ham but their prior stadium was a good little neighbourhood stadium with some history and atmosphere. I think because they went from that to the current sterile stadium is such a drop it really stands out for me. OK my top 10: 1) La Bombanera 2) Anfield 3) Santiago de Bernabeu 4) Azteca 5) Westfalenstadion 6) St. James Park 7) Celtic Park 8) Camp Nou 9) Neo Quimica Arena 10) Stade Velodrome.
Konfrontace Prahy vs Budapešti knedlíková Praha jasně prohrává. V Budapešti 67 000 tisícový fotbalový stadion , 23 000 atd všechno nový 2016 a novější . Dále v Budapešti mají 20 tisícovou arénu pro míčové sporty a 2x hokejový arény 12 000 a 10 000. Plus moderní menší fotbalový stadiony . V Praže stadiony Žižkova , Bohemians a Dukly patří spíš na balkán naprosto nevyhovující stadiony . V Praze nejnovější stadion z roku 2008 v Budapešti nejstarší stadion z roku 2016. Praha odpad.
Dukla Prague will always put me in mind of the classic song from Half Man Half Biscuit "All I Want For Christmas Is a Dukla Prague Away Kit".
One website TOFFS, I think l, used to make a Dukla Prague away shirt for that reason

It is not that easy, the stadium is in really bad condition and it would be very hard to get it fixed.

One of the more mysterious ones, for sure. Used for rugby also.
That is why I searched for this video. An oversight I guess.
The music the commentary, what else is there to say? Perfect!

I've been in the city a couple of times, but never had time to take in any of the stadiums, so thanks for this.

Stadion Evzena Rosickeho is definitely worth a visit, nice lost place. They always leave some gate open
I love Prague.

He should totally czech on them.

Awesome. As always.
Can you please make an up-to-date major-league soccer video? You are missing several teams and others have gotten new stadiums.

Do all the GAA stadiums in Ireland
That would class as some counties have more than one GAA stadium
I'd say that video would be half an hour long
HC Slavia Praha no longer plays at O2 Arena
Time to do Czech Ice Hockey Arenas, two were already covered here.
Good video. Could you please do the Slovenian Football league 1?

Please give us your top 10 and worst 10 stadiums worldwide?
We will argue about top 10 for sure but I think everybody can agree that West Ham's stadium should be top of the worst stadiums list.
@neilwhitaker6284 I didn't mind WH stadium. Nothing special about it, but I can understand why some fans hate it.
