This duo was beautiful. Both young artists are a force to be reckoned with in chamber music today, and I hope to hear them both more as soloists and as duos. The final movement in this work is spellbinding and Yunchan and Jae-min played it inspiringly. It is really great to see the University working to give these young performers as much public exposure as possible in a protected and supportive environment early in their professional careers.
Two masters at work A winning combination.Yunchan has since achieved very wide recognition but surely Jasmin Han is a name the wider world will soon be heating about. I certainly hope so .He is a wonderful performer and produces such beautiful sounds on his cello. Thankyou both. I do hope you will get together often. I'd love to hear Jasmin playing Shostakovich Cello Concerto Number 1.
He is on RUclips playing Shostakovich cello concerto no1. It's a superb performance. I know he loves his instrument and he gets a very particular sound that only he can make..........
The wider world has been taking note of Jae-min Han for some time: “Born in 2006….Jaemin Han came to international attention in May 2021 when he was awarded the grand prix of the George Enescu International Competition as the youngest prize winner in the history of the competition.”

처음엔 피아노가 반주악기인데 너무 부각되는 게 아닌가 싶었는데, 이 곡이 그렇게 작곡이 된 거였네요. 3악장 너무 아름다워요. 17:28 마음을 녹인다고밖에는 표현이 안 되네요. 언뜻 Eugene Friesen의 Remembering you도 생각나고...
