- In this video, I'm going to review MKBHD and his podcast, WVFRM. They discussed productivity and to-do list apps and products and tried convincing Andrew to use a proper to-do list app instead of his alarm clock.
I thought their process could teach us a lot about listening to users and thinking like a UX/UI designer.
The steps we're gonna review are:
Intro: (0:00)
Problem statement: (1:04)
Persona: (3:50)
Pain-points: (8:48)
Use-cases: (12:15)
Competitor Research: (14:40)
Brainstorming: (17:14)

If you're a beginner UX designer, I highly encourage you to adopt critical thinking about apps, always think beyond the interface, and try to understand UX patterns and behaviors that make an app or a product good (or bad).
There are always pros and cons, and a good UX designer knows how to find inspiration even in terrible apps 😊

Thanks a lot 🙏
I've also watched the podcast episode and it was the first video that wasn't like: I love this so you should too. It's exactly what should be done. Asking the user what they NEED and then find the perfect app for them
Right! It was really one of their best videos!
