Please dont listen to the haters Dom! Enforcing the rules THAT THE PLAYERS AGREED ON is the ONLY FAIR WAY TO DO IT. Disregarding a rule in the MIDDLE OF A MATCH would be a complete violation of all competitive integrity of the league. The people hating on it are salty. IF a rule change needs to happen (don't think it needs to be changed personally) then it should be done BETWEEN SEASONS not in the middle of a match. People in the comments saying the rule needs to change -> YOU ARE NOT THE ONES PLAYING, YOU ARE NOT AFFECTED BY THE RULE, THE PLAYERS ARE, AND THEY VOTED ON AND AGREED TO THE RULE. Dom made the most valid point in the video and everyone seems to overlook it. It used to be longer, AND THE PLAYERS WANTED IT TO BE SHORTER. PS: Nice shirt Dom.
So many different accidents for NPT this whole season. At least he built a better mental fortitude against them this time. Blanxz slowly evolving into a strong bingo player. Both are great, entertaining to watch.
What a bummer for Tom 😔 At least hitting his desk only resulted in a forfeited bingus square, last time I hit my desk I accidently smashed a harddrive and broke it 😅😭 Regardless of the outcome, his tech is always so awesome to watch. Great match!
Great game from both! Blanxz had great execution, but Tom kept going really well despite the setbacks. Also huge respect for Tom for being such a good sport in the post game interview. He sounded proud of Blanxz :)
You doing great Domo BTW, a little trick that I learned from another youtuber: Save a little folder with screenshots of comments that give you joy, because is very easy to just remember the complains over the compliments. And with how many annoying commenters hoping into complain trains by the minor inconvenience for them or the player they follow, you need something like that to bright up over the looming internet :3 Nice shirt, BTW
I feel so sorry for Tom! Always so helpful and then maybe the nerves get to him in the matches and add some bad luck and there you go! He always sound so deflated 😢
38:10 a single snipe is not a two square swing in any way whatsoever. If I have 8 squares and my opponent has 10 and I snipe a square on them, I now have 9 and they have 10 still. I’ve decreased the deficit by one square. I have to snipe them another time to be tied.
If you snipe at 8-10 and it's now 9-10, the difference is now one square. But if your opponent gets the square, it's now 8-11, a three square difference. So depending on wether you snipe or not, it's either a one or a three square difference. That's way it's a two square swing.
@@josephyoung6231?? Didn't parky have a Romina incident and barely thirty seconds after she marked the Square, the Ref informed parky that it was not allowed ? The refs to my knowledge are looking over the streams in real time.
@@Mortem179 Any time you are watching a stream, there is going to be some delay, even if it’s only a few seconds. And you don’t want a player to lose a square just because the ref watching their game was a little bit slower in marking it. It’s just a bad idea to have anyone except the players mark the squares.
@@BingoBrawlers i know, and rules are rules. BUT. Refs absolutely must not influence the outcome of a match in a sport. Unless an obvious abuse is at hand, they must be invisible. Their job is to make the match run smoothly an to be enjoyable to players and spectators alike. Of course, if players violate the rules in an unfair manner, refs should dish out punishments. in this case here, I think the refs should have evaluated the situation in a more lenient manner - was this a sneaky abuse by the player, was it intentional, and was the opponent influenced by it. If any of there is a "yes", then by all means, punish the offender. There is not a single yes in this situation here, which is why I am booing the refs - they just went with "4 is more than 3, so we punish". They've been following the letter of the law rather than the spirit of the law. Perhaps this is a point that can be considered for the future seasons. The most obvious solution would be to have an independent party mark the squares, as other commenters already said. In any case, I love watching the Bingus. A month ago I didn't even know it existed, and I am neither a big fan of ER, nor a particularly good player, but I really like what you've created here :) Keep up the good work!
@ Having the refs make those judgement calls is just a bad idea. It allows players to attempt to skirt the rule by claiming a mismark was unintentional. It allows any conscious or subconscious bias the refs have to influence their decision of whether the mismark was done intentionally. So then whether or not the player loses the square becomes entirely subjective, which will undoubtedly cause complaints from both viewers and players. Having it be a black and white, objective rule is the best way to do it.
Wow that 3 second rule is really bs. It was no race at all, nor did it really matter. Misremembering a Square happens and sometimes it takes a moment to go "oh shit". It also gives free info to his opponent, but locking him out was totally unnecessary
I don't think locking out the square completely for the rest of the game is a good solution Maybe the penalty is "can't mark square for X minutes" maybe 1-2 minutes will be a good penalty while not completely wasting the players efforts Also gives the other player an incentive to rush to the said square to Snipe it instead of awarding them a free square
Nah. The rules are the rules. Everyone agreed on them and that's because they all know more about this than we do. Even if it distracts a player for a couple of seconds as you re-evaluate your strategy in the middle of a boss fight it could change the outcome of a match. The penalty has to be high to make sure this happens as little as possible. That's my view, but that matters as much as yours (not at all). Ultimately the players and organisers have decided this. Perhaps they'll consider changing it in the future, perhaps not. For now, the rules are the rules.

Watched it live but leaving a comment for the algorithm!

@ but the “swing” doesn’t occur. It prevents a three point lead. It never swings two points.
I am eating my toes.

The referees should be the ones to mark the squares.
