The world is supposed to be a sort of limbo/purgatory. And the joker is the grim ripper who created the games. It all did happen but in the span of a minute. The citizens are people who were sent there and played the games but when the decision came they decided to stay in the world becoming the face cards. This was them fighting for their life’s while their heart stopped if they won the joker would let them return and have a second chance at life.
But how they were involved with each other?
@@namastehindustan9879they were all fighting for the chance of living again, so they would be on the same dimension
at least that's what I believe
@@nyc8460 or maybe they are still in limbo
@@namastehindustan9879We'll find out soon now that season 3 has been announced 👍🏻
I believe the camera Arisu saw in the rose bushes wasn't real either. It was the first sign of Mira's mental manipulation and his first hallucination.
Mira is a mistress of manipulation. She confuses and opens up their minds to different possibilities, and toys with Arisu's emotions by mention 7 of hearts to get them primed and ready for her final psychiatrist gag.
So The Joker card was actually explained in the manga: (Spoilers if you wanna read the manga yourself)
Arisu has a conversation with The Joker which goes like this-
Arisu- “You’re the sole ruler over all life in the Borderlands…right?”
Joker- “Do I look like a God or do I look like a Devil?”
*image of a ferryman is shown transporting the dead*
Arisu- “Neither… You’re just the Intermediator, right?”
This implies that The Joker only watches over the Borderlands and symbolises The Ferryman from greek mythology that transports the dead
With the way they’ve set this up they could potentially do a third season however it would be completely new material as the manga ends here as well
netflix did announce s3🎉🎉🎉
the manga has a very short sequel so they will probs take the premise for season 3 from that and just expand
@@raepan2797 Was Arisu in that as well?
After the comet happened, everyone's heart stopped for one whole minute, then people send to the boarderland which is a boarder between life and death. In boarderland they need to fight for their own lives and play the games to survive. All the main characters are dedicated to fight for their lives, so it's not really surprising they're still alive and Mira as a queen of heart is the perfect one to be in last game, since she test the player's willingness to survive. And lastly, I think the bullet with a red line came from the sky is also represent the red line in the hospital.
The Joker card, in the manga, is a character who actually appears in the story. He’s a ferryman between the world of the living and the afterlife, who brings Arisu back to the real world at the end. So them showing the joker card could mean that the ferryman did his job and brought back all the survivors to the real world or it could also mean it's gonna be another game cos the manga has a sequel so we could get a season 3
Is the sequel named "Aib retry"??
The mangga "sequel" didn't have anything to do with the joker card
27:15 i go back to Season 1 Episode 1 you can see Usagi silhouette there.
One thing i want to say is that in the manga Mira fucked way more Arisu brain and hearth than we saw here on the live action series
Why was there so many cuts in between sentences in this episode?
yeah how annoying is it
I think One Joker card is most likely implying that life is the one last chance they all have now.
I’ve really enjoyed watching y’all react to Alice in Borderland. Thanks so much for doing this series!
Anyone else here after the season 3 announcement 👀🤣
The way i saw it is that the world was purgatory and in it they were fighting for the right to survive
My theory is there would be season 3 if the audience are exciting to watch it. I think that would be the story of joker who had the first game in borderland and end up being joker itself. In fact we don't see queen of diamond has beating by Ann, I think it would be flashback for her to return from the coma. The story line might be focus on the flashback of the players. If the producer try to make it different as the manga it would be awesome. But i think season 2 is already perfect ending.
Thx for the reaction
Joker is basically the god of death he transported and arranged these games for the injured victims of the metoer impact, as to give them a chance to earn there way back to the world, borderland is like a dimention between life and death.
I don't get it, do you not talk a bit somewhere about the series after it ended? I didn't bother too much with the normal episodes but it feels like after such an ending, talking about it for 1 minute is a bit short innit? Unless I missed the videos where you take some time to reflect?
Also, did you ever make the research on who is who in terms of characters from the original tale of Alice in Wonderland? Because that's actually a fascinating bonus from this show. There's much debate over who is Niragi, for example, but I think many people who watch this series don't realize how much fun it is to try and find comparisons from characters in this show to Alice in Wonderland.
If you know that Chishiya is supposed to be Cheshire cat or that Kuina is the Caterpilar (transgender, metamorphosis), it elevates the series in some odd way, that I never experienced in any other series. Brilliant imo.
cant wait for season 3
Had you guys watched all of us are dead?? It’s really good
Reminder to everyone: Chota died a virgin.
Sadly, but in the boarderland he died as a good friend who gave his life for his friend to live.
No he didn’t. Shibuki literally had sex with him
@@seoulsearcher7628 not in the real world oof
@@shutupoliver still counts either way lol
I mean those experiences did happen to them. It was like a purgatory. Everyone in the blast went there and the people in charged put them all there in different times and also implanted memories that would have put you in a different area like the girl who had sex with chota was shown in the middle of alice and usagi at the end when she remembers being in the shower. The experiences they went through was real. Chota did have sex in purgatory and if he would have survived with the girl they would have sworn they seen each other before like bow girl when she saw aguni
Very weird edit
Without spoiling anything, as the manga ended similar to the show and I don't know if the show will continue and explain it, the Joker is the one in charge and Arisu learns about the bordelands purpose from him before going back to the real world.
*Spoilers below*
The Joker is God and he explains that the Bordelands exists essentially as a second chance for those who come close to death (Arisu and the others clinging to life after the meteor) to continue living. Those who die in the games ar e sent to Heaven. Anyone who denies citizenship goes back to the real world (back to life) and the ones who accept are sent to Hell, being deemed as evil for wanting to be in this world and keep the games going under their control. It's a final test to see if they deserve to live or if they should go to Hell. Haven't read all of the manga or the one off continuation so I might have gotten some details wrong.
You definitely got some stuff wrong lmao, don’t talk about the manga if you ain’t read all of it.
It’s literally explained that The Joker isn’t the ruler or god. They give the imagery of a Ferryman transporting the souls of the dead like the one from Greek Mythology. The Joker only watches over The Borderlands and takes the souls of people who died from one side to the other. There is no mention of heaven or hell, no mention of judgment about who is good and who is evil.
@@nyxicem I don't need to read all of it to talk about it. It's second-hand info anyways. I don't really care that much about it to be honest.
Man woke up and chose to spread misinformation on the internet
