After using the Techno Pova 5G Pro for a month, here's my review. The phone boasts a superb design, providing a high-class feel. However, the battery, despite fast charging with a 68W charger, tends to drain quickly during normal use throughout the day. The camera quality is disappointing compared to the advertised claims. In portrait mode, the background appears artificially blurred, giving the impression that the photo has been pasted onto it. The most significant issue I've encountered is with network connectivity. Numerous people reported being unable to reach me, and the internet connection fluctuates constantly. Making UPI payments or booking tickets on IRCTC becomes a challenge due to these connectivity issues. Also, you will not find the option of call history or add number or I can say basic features are missing. Considering these problems, I would not recommend buying this phone as it has presented numerous issues during my usage.😢😢
Between this and Samsung F14, which one should I buy (for parents)? Tecno has a lot more to offer than F14 but its display and layout looks kind of fishy (lower graded) which is very unusual. One Major flaw of being a Techno Owner is - Getting no updates. I'm a phantom X user(Techno's 1st flagship around 40,000) I trust this new brand at that time so much and wasted my money. The hardware is okay okish but the software to hardware integration is worse. They aren't making use of this 70⁰ curve glass at all. No Android updates from V11 making all Phantom X users as a standalone devices. I have no idea why they aren't spending resources on Phantom X. I tried reaching out to them multiple times, emails, calls but no response. Recently purchased Phantom X2 pro (66,000) and I see the devices hanging with multiple bg apps!! They just need to optimise the HiOS and they'll create wonders. Hoping I'll get an update soooooooon.
