    The country is the Philippines, the language is Tagalog, and since most of the Philippines also speaks English, they tend to use both on a daily basis.

      Yes, or more nationally, officially & sociolinguistically the Filipino language or as the Filipino language, which is the language or more specifically the national language and the national lingua franca or the national common/bridge/link language of the Philippines, and it is also one of the languages used & spoken in the commercial advertisement video by the actors and also used & written in the commercial advertisement video's subtitles (instead of just the more local Tagalog ethnicity-specific or more Tagalog ethnic or Tagalog ethnolinguistic group-specific, and more locality & local region-specific Tagalog language), and together with language code-switching and/or code-mixing with the English language (or more specifically Philippine English varieties), it results into Taglish (Tagalog [or Filipino] + English, and where the predominant language is Filipino or Tagalog, with more Filipino or Tagalog grammar on syntax, affixes, word order & sentence structure) or Englog (English + Tagalog [or Filipino], and where the predominant language is English, with more English grammar on syntax, affixes, word order & sentence structure), which both are more common, familiar, casual, conversational & informal vernaculars in the Philippines & of us Filipinos, aside from or alongside English code-switchings and/or code-mixings with the other local & regional languages of the Philippines beyond the more local & regional Tagalog & the national, more nationwide & more widespread Filipino.
      By the way, Filipino is the national language and one of the two official languages of the Philippines, alongside the English language, as well as the language of official communication, one of the two major languages of instruction or education, alongside the English language, and one of the two major languages of national mass media, also alongside the English language, also all in the Philippines, and it is heavily, predominantly, mostly, majority, to almost entirely Tagalog-based or predominantly, mostly, majority, to almost entirely the same or similar with the Tagalog language, but just with more yet still few linguistic & especially grammatical & lexical or vocabulary influences from the other languages of the Philippines and foreign languages than the Tagalog language of predominantly, mostly or majority the Tagalog people and predominantly, mostly or majority in NCR (National Capital Region) or Metro Manila (Metropolitan Manila), Calabarzon (Region IV-A), some parts of Central Luzon, some parts of Mimaropa (Southwestern Tagalog Region, officially not anymore Region IV-B), northwestern Bicol Region (Region V), and some parts of Central Mindanao (some parts of Eastern BARMM [Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao] and also maybe in some parts of Soccsksargen [Region XII]), as well as in some other provinces & independent cities of the Philippines, but it is just not as officially & sociolinguistically national, more nationwide & more widespread as Filipino, although Filipino and Tagalog are erroneously but understandably mistaken, officially-speaking & sociolinguistically-speaking, as or to be exactly one & the same, synonymous or interchangeable by most people, even by us Filipinos, because they're very similar to almost the same in most things, aspects, elements, features, characteristics and/or components, and also because Filipino started, developed, evolved and was linguistically & historically based from the Pilipino language of 1959 to 1986, which is based on, of or from the Filipino national language, Tagalog-based Filipino national language, Tagalog-based Filipino language, or Tagalog-based language of the early 1940s to the late 1950s, and which is also based on, of or from the Tagalog language of the mid-1930s to early 1940s.
      Filipino is more used, communicated, spoken & written as a second language or as a non-first and non-native language of most or the majority of us Filipinos, and predominantly, mostly or majority in or within the National Capital Region (NCR) or Metropolitan Manila (Metro Manila) and other urban centers all throughout the Philippines (cities & independent municipality: highly urbanized cities, independent component cities, independent municipality [Pateros], & component cities in provinces, especially their urban or urbanized, multi-ethnic & multilingual or multi-ethnolinguistic, multinational, multicultural, & populous barangays; and also urban or urbanized, multi-ethnic & multilingual or multi-ethnolinguistic, multinational, multicultural, & populous barangays of municipalities in provinces; and these includes regional centers & provincial capitals, among others like other & former metropolitan areas, former regional centers, & business districts or central business districts, etc.) where people of diverse or varied ethnic & linguistic or ethnolinguistic, social and cultural backgrounds meet, as well as predominantly, mostly or majority for national, official, academic or educational, technical, institutional, political, economic, diplomatic, business, scientific, technological, nationalistic, patriotic, national mass media, national culture, national identity, civics & citizenship purposes, scopes, areas, disciplines, uses, functions, settings & contexts.
      Although we Filipinos study, learn & acquire the same Filipino language in schools, colleges, universities, & other educational and/or learning, or language or language learning institutions as a language of instruction or education and/or as a separate language school subject or course in Filipino language, language arts, communication, communication arts, literature & the like, and although we Filipinos consume almost the same national mass media in Filipino language, mostly from NCR or Metro Manila, and we have a national government that uses the same Filipino language within itself and with us, which all are predominantly, mostly , majority, to almost entirely the same as the common/bridge/link & standard or standardized variety, variant or dialect of the Tagalog language, Filipinos in other parts of the Philippines still don't actually & don't exactly use, communicate, speak or write in a perfect Tagalog language like or as a native Tagalog person or a native Tagalog user, communicator, speaker and/or writer, but most Filipinos communicate, speak and/or write more in a broken Tagalog-like, Tagalog-sounding, & Tagalog-looking language, also alongside & aside from the other local & regional languages of the Philippines and few to some foreign languages that slowly influences this broken Tagalog language, and this broken Tagalog language is what actually is the still or yet developing & evolving Filipino language from or out of its linguistic & historical Tagalog language basis.

    Jollibee commercials reflect how the company and it's legacy has touched the lives of Filipinos since its inception and eventually became a part of Filipino culture. As a kid, I view going to Jollibee as a prize and a fun place to be with and as I grew up, I brought my little nephews and nieces who are all excited to go even to this day that they're adolescent. I also order Jollibee whenever I'm depressed and it all goes away. These are just some reasons why we all love Jollibee and the commercials magnify that.

She passed away this February 15, 2024 she also left our cute little baby. It's so hard to accept that the one you always with, talk, sleep every little things you do you never do with your love ones. First you'll be question God why this happened to me, i' am a really bad person? That don't deserve to be loved? Or happy? I thought it will happy ending for us but not. I'll learned to trust God now, maybe my future wife want to rest because she suffer before she's die and God have another plan for us. Jollibee is used to make a "short film" every February in celebration for the month of love. Not a typical commercial because its actually a short film for Valentines Day. They do this yearly and releases it on National TV a week before February 14😊❤

    Ooooh, you should do the sisters one (thai) , the one about the young mother (thai) and the one with the girl and the doggo (thai). Flooding will occur.

    Although, some of the words were spoken in Tagalog but you can easily understand it because it follows English words/phrases that makes catch the meaning.. ya, Philippines has 2 official languages. Hope you'll find more Jollibee and other commercials. Thankful ❤

    It's a language all of its own. They speak Tagalog, but it's now developed into Tagish, as they call it. It's a mix of their language and English.

    The thing about Pinoys is at our core, we're sentimental. Jollibee caters to whole families, so they'll have commercials with themes of love between parents and their kids or grandkids. And love among friends, and then romantic love. They're not selling burgers-- they've been proving beef patty supremacy since the early 80s-- but showcasing how present they are for each important life moment of the average/ near-average Pinoy. Families hold parties there. Blue collar coworkers go there for a relatively cheap sorta near-upscale-kinda-wannabe meal. White collar workers go there for similar reasons (from the opposite end of the economic stratum). High school kids finding themselves, and college kids finding each other-- they go there too. There's burgers and fries and fast food chicken everywhere, but Jollibee's been where your heart is at, even when you don't notice.

    I'm surprised you guys reacted to this commercial without English sub,☹️😔 coz a lot of reactors i watched who also reacted to this exact same Vid and they all got English Sub on, that's why their reactions are way more emotional coz they understood everything.😅😁

    • @RNTV
      @RNTV  5 месяцев назад +2

      Well, I blame the people who sent the link for this one. You have to let the reactors know these things BEFORE they react, not after. Crucial information like this does not help after the reaction has been done. That being said. I think we did a good job still understanding everything that was going on.

    Hi Mike & Jess, I just found out one of your great comedians died last week. Please would you consider reacting to a couple of his sketches. His name is Bob Newhart & the two I thought you might react to are the following. (Driving Instructors Have It Rough Off The Record 1992) 7 Mins 45 Secs & (Air Traffic Controller In Loving Memory) 4 Mins 20 Secs.

    The story about her past with her best friend/boyfriend and a new guy came after 4 years. She met another man that says and do exactly what her ex did for her. And now she's finally moved on and read to love again.
    It looks like she's two timing but the story was she had a boyfriend 4 years ago that passes away and a present suitor.
